That has got to be one of the most ruthless and inspiring declutters in the history of CZcams.
I own about 30+ lippies. They are my weakness & I seem to always want more. In order to consistently use all of them & not get bored, I decided to wear each once & not re-use it until I've worn all of them.

Aubri I used to be the same way. Now I'm enjoying them... but that was always me. Now I'm enjoying makeup in general more so than prob is why it changed.
I usually put on a lipstick before I leave the house, but never ever care to reaply throughout the day.

I literally work at Ulta where I have to wear makeup and I rarely wear lipstick other than like 2 colors because I get in rut. But I own about 45 lipsticks etc.

It makes me so happy that you don't refer to almost every shade as being nude. So many times people say 'it's a red/purple/bright pink/blueish/orange nude', how many people have skin that are those shades when they're in the nude? It's also refreshing to hear someone that's not OBSESSED with everything, it really drives me crazy!

I like to keep lighter nude shades like the Mac Creme De Nude to layer on top of a lipstick to customize a shade or put it in the center and it makes the lips look poutier. :)
Saaaaavage, I love Jessica's declutters. Its so inspiring and there's so much satisfaction in watching what she keeps vs. what she gets rid of. Ugh it speaks to me 😆 lol

Wow, so many of my lipsticks are pretty much the same shade. I keep thinking my life is gonna be great when I find that 'perfect nude' shade!! Doesn't happen but that doesn't mean I don't keep looking for it!!! Thanks for the lesson on how to declutter Jess!!
Diane Welzel I've learned my favourite nudes are never really nude, they're always quite red or brown. trying lipsticks that are just a shade darker than your natural lip is a good place to start.

Professional Dog Trainer Because if she's not using them why does she want them there taking up space? I'm like her and her overwhelmed. And almost would feel a sense of guilt every time I open a drawer with a bunch of things I'm not using that will eventually go bad. Meanwhile someone else could be loving them!

Oh my gosh, yes!! The smell of L'Oréal lipsticks gets me every time! I have purchased so many of their lipsticks only to return them or give them away. I can't get past it. 😔
Thank you for ACTUALLY getting rid of things. I just watched a declutter from someone else and they got rid of a few things per category. It was so frustrating. And she was saying that she likes to be really strict with herself with getting rid of stuff. I was so confused.

I have such a hard time getting rid of things, but I love these videos. I got rid of half of my wardrobe after being inspired by your videos. Which was no small feat for me.
My all time favourite from Mac is Peach Blossom lipstick. It's similar to Patisserie, but a little more pink. For me it's the perfect peach/pink-combo. And not too dark or too light.

Yay!!!! That was an awesome purge. I wish I could do that. I have even more lipstick than you.... and it’s so difficult for me to decide what to keep and what to get rid of. But opening my lipstick drawer... and I’m so overwhelmed by too much.... and I end up just grabbing one of my favs again and again and again. *sigh* Yup... I need to declutter!!!!

I don't know if you ever picked up a new color in the flower hydro silk formula yet but the more nude shades are so freaking awesome!!! I highly highly recommend that you grab at least one of those for an everyday lip product. This lip product NEVER leaves my purse!!

You go with your de-cluttering self! 😄 I literally JUST got the MAC Patisserie in the mail and love it. If anything, I wish the formula was longer-lasting, but it's a gorgeous color. I also got two discontinued glosses (cuz they're purty and were on sale) and the Prep and Prime lip primer. Not in love with that so far, but we'll see. UD's "Naked" lipstick is a fav, and the gloss is an all-time love. Last but not least, I'm SO glad to know there's someone else out there who can't STAND the taste/smell of L'Oréal lipstick. I've tried to ignore it many times over the years, but I just can't. I don't buy any lip product by L'Oréal anymore. Great video. Thanks for sharing!

Quick question... what do you do with the lipsticks after decluttering them? where do they go? I have to get rid of some of mine and I do not know what should I do.
I'm with you on the scent of L'Oreal lipsticks. They remind me of cheap floral bathroom air freshener. I have Julienne's Nude and really like the color and packaging, but am trying to find a dupe, even if it's more expensive, because the smell is so awful and strong.

+Maggie Davis There are a few different finishes in the line, so it really depends on which ones you buy. So the Comfort Matte formula wears differently than the Mega Matte or the Cream formulas, for example. Temptalia reviewed every single shade if you want more in depth info about any color or finish in particular.
I saw on Snapchat you got the Tariest Pro palette. What are your thoughts on it?
I have a Loreal lipstick (the bullet ones) that was patchy and shear. I don't go for them anymore. It's a magenta color. I only wore it once I think. BTW way to go on the decluttering!!! I could probably never do that! So way to go girly!

Do you use all those shades all of the time? or are there shades/colors that you wear in like fall/winter and spring/summer? I am just starting into lipsticks and trying to find shades I like. I know warmer nudes and browns I feel look better in the fall/winter and the reds, pinks/corals in the spring summer. so just curious if you switch it up or go for certain colors based on the seasons.
