@@Lol_1410 emcee is my dream role. I'm just saying in amateur Productions alot of people tend not to be the "weird" character. That's obvious here because the actor is so low energy. He obviously didnt eant that role.
Also often the audio for the video is plugged into the sound board. The audience isn’t usually on mic so unless they are REALLY loud they won’t be picked up by the actors mics. Even pro recordings of broadway shows don’t have a great representation of the audience reactions.

Absolutely - the 1972 film with Liza Minelli wasn't a patch on the original stage show. They made Sally Bowles far too good a singer which kind of missed the whole point.
The band are bloody awful and too slow
