Our first time xc schooling on grass this year! Max was VERY EXCITED!!! He just couldn’t contain his excitement!! He wasn’t hugely concentrating at the beginning as he just was too excited but he did calm down and we finished very nicely!
We are a little behind on vlogs apologies! We are getting them edited now so we can catch up ☺️
Kato also came along and was an absolute superstar and jumped the best i think he ever has! So i hope you guys like this vlog!

Max has created a new event: Freestyle XC!! since he didn't have to do dressage & show jumping first, he thought this was just a lark in the country! Izzie & Tiny are looking good, more of a team every time. Kato is jumping on a whole new level. Hi to your mom, good to see her. Love the training vlogs.

Great vlog and some awesome riding ladies, wow go tiny and Izzy. Improving all the time but WOW Kato 🤩, I just love this horse think I’ve told you that lol he’s just looking absolutely super and what a difference you road him like a dream and great connection you both had, that mush have felt awesome ? Max looks great even tho fresh that is also good to see that he’s excited for his job and great job in pushing forward and getting him focused. Great vlog once again 😀. Xx

So glad you've decided to keep kato. I think he is a super horse and God forbid something we're to happen to max you have a backup already going up the levels. He's is a big boy but has nice movement and is lovely over jumps. I was terribly sad at the thought of him leaving your lineup. So here I am. All thumbs up excited for 2023. Go max and kato!!!

Oh, those bright crisp winter days! When my thoroughbred used to act like that, we would say he had a “thoroughbred hair up his bum.” Can you even say the same when you’re referring to a warmblood? Lol.

MAX OMG! What a cheeky boy, he's like "mum this is just so exciting, i don't know what to do with myself!!" and Kato was a good boy, very strong as per usual. Izzie and Tiny really did shine over those bigger jumps, she should compete in the 90cm!! Lot's of love to all of you and the dog ❤❤

It's not easy to refrain from hauling on the reins when you're riding an eventing fit horse that feels like a UXB is it ;) Amazing the difference in Kato's whole demeanour without the martingale, he was pleased to be able to use his head and neck properly and really showed what a scopey, clever horse he is, you're so lucky to have him :)

I just took my 18,1 hh 5 year old horse CX for the first time and he was jumping the jumps as off they were 130 lol❤ not to mention bucking bronking and a few rears lol😂 amazing video as always ash❤

Lol Max!! He will be fine, like you said its the first school. It’s a bit shocking when they are so out of character, and it’s hard to ride because it’s some other random horse you are riding that you didn’t have a plan for! You did well as always though! 😊
