hello sir! i would really appreciate some help here. I am almost done with my skill level and i want to get the BSc OBU degree. I dont have plans to continue ACCA professionals after completing BSc degree. Do i still need to pay ACCA the membership fee every year? and will my bsc degree still be valid?
Hello, yes ACCA membership you pay for the rest of your lives until you want to keep your membership. However if you don't continue to pay, your Bsc will still be valid. So you don't have to worry about the degree

I wanted to inquire about my eligibility for OBU. I got exemptions in F7 and F8, and I am going to attempt F9 in coming attempt. Considering this, I would like to confirm whether I meet the eligibility criteria for the OBU program or not?
Hello! Sorry to say however you won't meet the eligibility requirements since OBU requires you to give the last 3 papers of skill level. Therefore you'll need to forfeit these exemptions if you plan to pursue OBU Bsc.

Hi chirag, the OBU is a nice to have addition on your resume especially if you're already done with ACCA. Resume becomes attractive when it says a degree from Oxford Brookes 😁

Unfortunately no. It's not easy to move to UK basis OBU.

Yes you'll have to tick on the option where it says opt in for OBU in myacca account. You should make sure you have done the last 3 skill papers and epsm before you do OBU

Hello Shahid, thanks for your kind words. The best way is to write to the OBU to let you opt in, they will be able to assist. Or you can write to ACCA on students id, that should work too.

Yes there is a fees of 495 pounds which you need to pay

OBU will end its collaboration with acca ...no body can go to UK after 2026 ....
To be fair, you can't go to UK even now basis the OBU Bsc.

For OBU it takes around 2 to 3 months to make a meaningful dissertation. For starting, you'll need to complete all your skill level papers, and if exemptions taken, you still need to do the last 3.
