this video explains how ACCA students can earn a BSc Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University whilst studying for their professional qualification.
If im am planning to submit my RAP in say November 2022 , how can i calculate my predetermined degree class on my Resume (lets say i have an average of 59 for my ACCA Skills exams) and also on LinkedIn, what should be my start date for the degree and my finish date (Linkedin happens to ask for such when filling in your academic qualifications) Regards
The Information Pack (download from www.brookes.ac.uk/business/undergraduate/bsc-applied-accounting/) explains how the degree is classified. As the degrtee is made up of your Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills papers, along with the RAP, the start date is the date of your first examination pass or exemption.
Can you guide me about the submission process? I have registered on the website, There is a portal for applying, Once uploading all the documents, what comes next ? I need more specific details about the mentor number ? Is it manually entered ? Does the mentor receive any email ? What will happen if i upload the documents today…..Can the mentor number be uploaded later on 9th may ? Will this be acceptable? My mentor has not responded to me yet about his mentor number …
You can downlaod a PDF from Brookes website that shows you screen shots of the submission process. Please email details of your mentor - name and email address - to acca@brookes.ac.uk instead of entering a mentor number. We will contact your mentor. You can still submit Good Luck
The average marks that I got from ACCA applied skills are 56% which OBU classifies as Second Class honors Lower Division. My question is if I re-sit ACCA exams for example F5 and F9 before submitting RAP and got marks higher than the previous marks, will it affect my degree classification?
@@bscappliedaccounting7796 Thank you for your reply. Yes ACCA allows Affiliates and members to re-sit any papers from F1-P7. So I am planning to re-sit F4 before submitting the RAP and I would like to know whether it affects the Bsc Applied accounting degree classification or not.
Hi students tell us that it takes between 3 - 4 months to complete the work needed for the RAP. The New Information Pack for the year 23/24 will be released on 1 June, It will be available from the Brookes website www.brookes.ac.uk/acca
Yes you can be eligibile with exemptions from f1 - f4. The avaerage mark is calculated based on the marks achieved in ACCA examinations. So if you have 5 exams (f5-f9) then the average is calculated over those 5 papers.
@@bscappliedaccounting7796 can you explain please. i had already bachelor degree with low GPA, but i want to apply for masters from top universities. can i use OBU acca degree to apply for masters instead of my first bachelor degree
Please download the Information Pack from this web page (half way down) www.brookes.ac.uk/business/undergraduate/bsc-applied-accounting/ . This explains the eligibiklity requirements and how you study for the Research and Analysis project

I'm not sure it is possible to resit passed ACCA exams. For OBU, we will look at the mark you received for the first time you passed.

@@mohamedaden9199 OBU will look at the mark the first time you passed the paper. Resitting the paper will not change the OBU degree classification.
