Fix water leaking, rear AC unit problem, wet floor, wet carpet. A/C Problem, DIY.
Now I know why my cargo area is always a little damp. Thank the spirit in the sky for people like you that take the time to help others. Peace
love this ominous music. It fits how I feel discovering the AC is leaking water all over my carpet and it smells like mildew.
Amazing help - thank you so much!! It took me a couple years to figure out why my carpet was getting wet back there but only in summer.
I didn't know that where the discharge hose is located. Thanks for this video
On my 2010, this isn't the problem. I'm still looking. I see on the net that almost all siennas leak somewhere. I think I'm going to just install a bilge pump, [Not really] but this is a great video. Thanks
Great tip for any vehicle with a rear A/C unit.
AWESOME VIDEO !! I finally found the funky smell culprit. Thank You !

WOW thank you! Will try this.
Thank you.
Could this cause my van to over heat or completely drain of anti-freeze/water after driving only 4miles?? Also when I stopped and put in parked...the inside of my van filled with smoke and I could here, what sounded like water spewing from my trunk?? Please help if can!! Been stuck without ride for a week now and can't afford to put in shop. Dk what to do thank u for this video was helpful!!
I was told that it's a freeze plug....and I checked, the freeze plug was leaking but there is no way that a leak that small, drains every bit of water I have in it....there has to be something else wrong! Can't find source!
@@jamiegraves6794 if you’re still looking for a solution, go to Reddit and ask your question under the subreddit r/mechanicadvice or one of the other ones that are similar to that (like r/cartalk).
Hi did you ever find out what was causing the steam because my van just started doing this today
I’m CZcams certified, are you!? Thanks for a great video

Thank You very much it really helped me.
Only for that year?
Do you know how to access the Sienna's front ac drain line? Thank you.
From under the vehicle in front.
nice one brother
Can you help me on my 2002 Toyota Sienna, when it rains water on floor of drivers side and the passenger side. I don't have a clue were water is dripping in. i checked and found out most areas sealed but can't locate the source were water is passing through
I have exactly the same problem with my Toyota Sienna 2002. I read that many people have the same problem.
Same here but on a 2004 model
Same 2005 (driver's only and hatch)
Although it's been 6 years since this was posted, I had a similar problem with my '08 XLE Limited, with a sunroof. There are 4 drains around the sunroof. Each connects to a plastic tube that directs water to drain underneath the van. I had the auto shop to clear the lines of debris. After they cleaned the lines, the problem stopped. I have to park under an ornamental cherry tree, so lots pink flowers in the late Spring and leaves in the fall end up on the roof.
Turn off the music, thanks good video
Very similar in Toyota Sienna 2nd generation.
However I don't recommend to use an ordinary vacuum cleaner.
You can be shock by electricity or just burn a vacuum cleaner.
Pawel Dienwebel He used a shop vac, designed for sucking up water. Others should too.
music is intense bro
On top of the car, there is a long seal on each side that need to be replaced.
