- On a recent trip to Argentina ( www.wildwingout... - Chris Wisecarver ) , we found a massive herd of destructive marsh rats, AKA: Nutria. This is an adventure I'll never forget!!! The Duck, Perdiz and dove hunting was better than I could have even imagined!!!

Love Everglades seasoning!
chris brunette he gets his money from hunting cuz he said he was able to financially safe and stuff off hunting alligators and stuff like that
I'm Argentinian and i'm glad you enjoy these trips so much to our beautiful country! Make it more often
Buenos noches, amigo! Are rifles allowed in Argentina? I would think head shots on a giant rat with a .22 long rifle would be better than a shotgun. By the way, I'm a NativeAlaskan, we see a lot of sheared nutria furs up there to make cold weather gear from. It's great!
@@random_eskimo_in_the_rockies Yes..
I'm Argentinian also..
Some people use to hunt nutria rat with 22LR and PCP air rifles also... 👍🏻
@@juanmartinappesseche8787 I hear much about how wonderful and beautiful Argentina is. My sister-in-law lived there for 18 months and loved it. I'd love to visit the Pampas, especially.
Rob needs a TV show, showing people about how responsible hunting can actually do a lot of good for the environment.
I agree that Rob is a responsible environmentalist, I just wish he'd show a little more compassion for the marsh rats and not be so political in making them out to be destroyers of environments. If anything, humans have already cornered the market in those regards, so lets be honest and upfront while still showing compassion for these remarkable creatures at the same time.
I sugguest u should start wearing gloves while skinning
@@Rick-the-Swift 100% agree! I feel the same for every living creature. Hunt only for food, not sport. And still respect the animal.
@@dannyherrera1598 My wife is a vegetarian/vegan and It's been a long process in helping her to understand the important role hunters play while simultaneously protecting the species they hunt and the wild lands they need to exist. She still does not like the idea of killing an animal, but has come along way in understanding that without hunters, the land would likely be overtaken by industrial farms and/or shopping malls.
Having said that when hunters like Rob show zero respect for the animal they are taking, and make no mention of human encroachment upon their lands, I believe we lose ground in the pursuit of protecting hunter's rights, these wonderful creatures and their habitats.
Much respect for your views!
@@Rick-the-Swift thanks man. Yeah I get how she can feel like that and I dont know if I could kill an animal (unless I'm starving in the wilderness and have no other option, bugs are not an option for me lol) because I feel compassion for them. I would not hesitate to kill an animal who is endangering the life of a loved one, another human being or my own life.
I'm also trying to become vegetarian but still eat salmon and sushi but its hard not to eat when your family at home isnt vegetarian and I end up eating what they make lol
20 year old from Oklahoma, love hunting and fishing and that aspect of your channel. But honestly seeing how you treat others, and how respectful and thankful you are to people is the most inspiring part of your videos. Big props.

That's real.
I love how Robert shows so much respect for any culture and place that he goes to. I admire that. And even better, you are raising your children with that same pattern. I take my hat of to you man.

I love how you try and talk to the chef makes me happy!! In her language too so amazing I love it ! You’re such an amazing man and Sarah is lucky !
Nutria were introduced in Louisiana in the 1940’s and the state is fighting similar wars against the destructive rodent! Thanks to your channel I get to enjoy the great outdoors through your eyes from my bed in a nursing home. Can’t wait for our next adventure!❤️
I still do not understand why you don’t have 5 million subs yet. I have been here since 200k and have watched an amazing progression in your filming and description skills. Way to go rob much love from the carolinas!!
Here in Argentina we have a saying that goes something like "Everything that moves finds its way to the grill" and I for once am happy that you adhere to that motto!
Being honest i've never heard of it before lol. Anyway i wouldn't mind eating some nutrias every now and then.

16:30 she say that it’s really good to cook it on the grill and on the oven as well 👍🏻
The lady chef said that you can cook it in the oven or in a charcoal grill and it’s delicious as well
Cool !!!
I think if I lived there I'd be out every day decimating those nutria lol
The cooking portion of your travel videos are my favorite. I love traveling, I travel to fish, and I am addicted to the food of the world.
I love how far your channel has grown. I don't hunt or fish (yet) but have always loved supporting you and your family
You inspired me. Been catching, cleaning, and cooking my whole life but finally just did my first saltwater CCC! Thx for awesome videos.
All your hunting videos that I watched so far are about friendship, respect, family and eating what you hunt (very important). I love it, great to watch 👍

Here in SE Louisiana, we call there marsh rats Nutria. I hunted them and ate them since I was a child. Nutria meat is delicious and tender. It is one of the best wild meats you can eat.

They are actually really cute. They are very popular where I live, we feed them with the ducks.
I’m surprised that Rob didn’t put in some everglades seasoning 🤣
Love the traveling wildlife hunting show your doing now. Keep it up.
Amazing. Hunting marsh rats, describing the terrain that has been overtaken by a sly water bound mammal. Describing a desolate area damage by the marsh rat puts it in perspective. I'm not a hunter but learned that I could enjoy a hunting trip one day by watching your video. Its like a renewable resource
by hunting marsh rats, cooking it and enjoying the taste. I think I would like try it one day. Thank You for a fantastic and educational video.

You can come to south Louisiana and take all you want. We have plenty to share.
Oregon and Washington have them also, they were brought in, in the 1920s people were told they could make money selling the pelts. When there was no market for the pelts they were turned loose.

Wow, this is my first time seeing nutria. Really big 👀👀
I live in south Louisiana i see them when i take the garbage out
I wouldn’t eat one out in Louisiana and Mississippi. They eat nasty crap 😂
Trey Boudreaux - Does Louisiana still offer a bounty on them? I heard some time ago, that they offer a five dollar bounty for nutria tails.
alan30189 I think they just raised it to $7 or $8 because the population has increased.
There just giant rats

Those Nutria look to be almost more destructive than wild hogs.
pythons would be a good idea to counter this animals
Normally they are not. Their numbers have just exploded because their natural predators are gone and a ban on trapping has been placed. They were in the brink of extinction before. Eventually the population will reach a healthy number.
Introducing a foreign species to control a native animal is never a good idea.
