It's not a case of Connor making phone call after Artem giving him the idea. Artem was heavily involved through the whole process. Artem actually worked on opening a vodka distillery and business & marketing plan when getting his business degree, so he was well versed the running of distilleries had a lot knowledge in that particular area. You will find a video on CZcams when Artem was interviewed on the topic at the time I was thinking he's a very clever guy at the time Artem was embarking on his bareknuckle career.
Artem is far from stupid he's has a degree in business and in fact gave Connor more than just the idea. One of Artem's specialities is opening up distilleries he did the whole thing gave him the idea, the business plan and marketing from start to finish. So he was right not to take the million. Connor needs to make Artem a better offer I don't know if him and Artem have fallen out but at the time him and Artem were good friends so Artem was doing him a solid so credit where credit due.
