by the way, the reason he suffocated is not because the suitcase is airtight, but rather, being in such a confined space makes it impossible for your chest (and therefore your lungs) to expand to actually take in breath
One thing that becomes an important factor here is what we call "actual malice" in the US legal system which can either mean that A) you acted with blatant malicious intent to harm OR B) you acted with such reckless disregard for another's safety in a situation where harm was likely and obvious. Whether you think she shoved him in the suitcase or just screwed around and didn't care that he needed help, she acted with actual malice as soon as he said he was unable to breath and she refused to act.
They got her despite the issues of the interrogators.
I've spoken with attorneys before (lawyers are, on the whole, rather decent people) and irreconcilable differences tends to be code for "this fucking idiot wants me to get them out completely scott-free and that's impossible."
I think she should've tried to confess to involuntary manslaughter and BWS (battered woman syndrome). Claim she didn't do it intentionally, she was drunk and can't remember things clearly, and it's possible that she did something in retaliation that she was unaware could kill him because of his repeated beatings.
@@DoctorOaksYeah in this situation literally all you can do is as much as possible to lessen the sentence.
The reason the Interrogation goes on is to know which will she be charged specifically, because they sentence is not the same depending if it was an Accidental Homicide (like she tries to convince the officer), an Intentional Murder (like the evidence seem to show) or, the worst case, Premedidate Murder (meaning she planned from the start to put him in the suitcase, and not just decided to let him there knowing it would kill him).
Those are the least synchronised pair of detectives I've ever seen.
She is going for a single statement by putting her on edge, not letting her think her words through by bombing her with stressful situations and waiting for her eventual snap.
He is going for a "wait till she contradicts herself" approach.
Those two interrogation techniques work wonders when paired with others but CANT work together logistically. They contradict eachother and even mess the other up. Even putting both detectives against eachother for the "control" of the interrogation and preventing cooperation.
Sarah (if she were intelligent enough) could have used the guy's technique to her advantage by thinking her words through and repeating them when the other detective is hard-bombing on her.
This case was so freaking out of this world.
I'm pretty sure I've heard about this on a podcast with an autopsy tech who said his injuries would be consistent with being pushed down the stairs in the suitcase.
I've seen this video and one of my fav parts is how JCS throws shade saying that's not how you play hide and seek 💀 It's disgusting how calm she was in the phone, refusing to do cpr and then kept saying it wasn't intentional as if that's a get out of jail card.
pretty sure if someone is already at rigor mortis it's way too late to do cpr.
also it's super suspicious that she always added "and he found it funny too" or "he was laughing about it" even though nobody asked about it. When lying, people tend to add unasked or unnecessary info.
@@h13n12 most people cant accurately identify rigor mortis until extremely late stages, so thats dumb as hell to say. People assume that "oh wow this person is hard to move must be rigor mortis" completely forgetting that people are fucking heavy
@@ZeallustImmortal just proves my point even further. If most people can’t identify rigor mortis till extremely late stages then if she can identify him as being in rigor mortis then it’s way WAY too late to try cpr. So what exactly was dumb as hell to say?
@@h13n12 Also because at the end of the day, doing CPR on somebody when it is too late will not cauae more problems, but if you cant identify (as in are not licensed to identify) what "too late" is, you should do it as long as they have no pulse.
With Every Time She Says Its Not Intentional It Makes Me Think That It Was Intentional
38:27 the woman uses a double negative, " I did not not intentionally kill him".
Patterz constantly taking notes on his thoughts about how to avoid these situations and what he would do scares me.
In all seriousness Patterz is an amazing youtuber and I love his content!
4:01 - I mean, every murderer in the world drinks water, so...
I think the fact that she says a lot "I don't know what do you want me to say" proves that she's not telling the truth, but what she thinks she has to say to get away
RECAP: Woman kills man; police show up; woman tries to get an excuse to destroy evidence in house multiple times, but fails; police find more evidence than needed to lock her away for murder; woman pretends to be a caring romance partner and gives herself away with a "cry-to-straight face" move; police show evidence of intentional murder to the woman; woman acts like a little kid with no common sense or understanding that killing people is...bad...; woman asks for phone and laptop to destory evidence before court hearing; woman also asks for the property of the man she killed so she can sell it for lots of money; woman still has no common sense, or respect for dead people; woman gets detained.
Did I leave anything out?
You forgot how her excuse makes 0 sense. You don't play hide and seek by hiding the person you're supposed to find, and she later tries to claim it was tag, but she doesn't know how that's played either.
I'm surprised she didn't ask to speak to a manager.... She has major Karen Energy...
"I didn't went upstairs and slept intentionally"
"Yeah but nobody forced you to do that you could have just gone and free him, so why didn't you free him?"
"because i went upstairs!"
Sarah basically arrived on that point, where she's so much shocked and in despair, that she can't find any good lies anymore, so now is just repeating the same thing over and over and hoping it works.
About mid video you mentioned how you didn’t think suitcases were airtight and how the air could go through the zip holes.
Well they actually aren’t air tight, both smells and sound easily go in an out and well he was in there pleading for at least over 11 minutes. The problem with Suitcases is well they aren’t well ventilated, as they aren’t supposed to be. Meaning while you could probably get some air while in there, the amount you would need would drastically outweigh the amount you could receive, eventually you’d reach 0.
"what made you all decide to do this", girl I couldn't thing of a better question for you myself
i love how the main channel is like "pokemon and stuff" and morepatterz is like "lets watch a murder investigation" lol
So during the whole video i was thinking like "maybe she set this up" when the domestic charges got brought up i had two scenarios. That either he was the super abusive one and that she maybe just got revenge on him while drunk and just didn't fully think it through or she's the aggressor. Like maybe she gets him to a point where he goes too far and sets it back onto him so she takes no fall. Which became increasingly more likely as it went on. She seemed like a Manipulative lady who has drinking issues and the injuries he sustained (i thought maybe he was trying to break out and/or she was dragging a heavy full grown adult and banging him around) made me think that this was all a plot she setup. Even the narrator started to think this too.
Third scenario: they are both abusive and abuse each other all the time.
So this is what happens when you arrest a Karen
28:58 YES, no matter what, always refuse to speak and ask for a lawyer
React to 'How Collecting Every Pokémon Emerald Decoration Solved a 20 Year Old Mystery'
As they find a secret texture behind one of the textures of a murderer's name that hadn't been arrested yet
this is so stupid, she had all the evidence against him and was still arguing her innocence
# 0001 To sum up this video. Karen lady kills her boyfriend in one of the most Karen way possible and tries to Karen her way out of going to jail.
“I dont believe she is the abuser” she killed him
His point is that he doesn’t believe that the woman was the abuser in this relationship. He believes the husbands abusive behavior is what drove her to killing him.
It's been reported that she put her nine year old son in a suitcase before. I know Jorge was a very tiny man. It dawned on me what if Sarah put her son in the suitcase, to see if Jorge may fit in there?
If those videos weren’t found it would’ve maybe been classified as involuntary manslaughter
she talks like every abusive person I know
2:15 yes it was what appears the be a sour cream and onion flavor bag of lays chips
Love the video pat, your commentary actually added some much needed levity to this tragic story
Edit: I said “sad” to describe this but for the husband it was really tragic, he was trying to stop his domestic abuse and become better and she murdered him, even if accidentally, which is a big “if” in my opinion, is still a tragedy
We don't actually know if he was trying to change. Domestic abuse victims usually make excuses for their abusers or downplays their abuse. I'd like to think that he was trying but we don't really know
@@dylanweathers9727 true but from what I looked up on my own he was at least attending classes and that shows some level of desire to change even if his worse desires were winning out, and she took his chance away
@@gabrieldevoogel6225 oh wow. Well I guess semi-props to him for making an effort. I personally feel more bad for the kids. 2 girls lost their dad, and a boy lost his mom. Over the course of a night.
@@dylanweathers9727 yeah that’s agreeable, the kids deserved Better
Just like quick sand it's not a lack of air getting to you that kills...it's the inability to expand your lungs to take a breath
I watched a video of this a few months ago. When I heard her say: “we were playing hide & seek. He got in the suitcase and I zipped it up”…my first thought was: “This is the worst explanation ever, do you not know how to play hide & seek?” 😂😂😂
In the US and Canada it's 72 hours before they have to release if no charges are brought, but she strait admitted to manslaughter at a minimum she shoulda been grabbed up that day
American police give you just enough time to think that you might be OK and that they're on your side before they show up with 5 squad cars to arrest you. At least for my experience.
How did you get the experience tho 😂
@@cosmictrainer2919 had a planed attempt on my life. Won the fight and got arrested. Was locked up for a month befor i could get a bail hearing... spoiler alert it was all caught on a security camera
@@Aidan_Morrison more explanation is needed. At what point did police even get involved? Why were they involved? What were you doing?
@Broomer52, I think it's clear the police got involved because of the whole fight from the attempted attempt at their life, that's why they got involved
Love bombing is when you show affection non-stop. Constantly.
and then strip it all away to starve them of affection so that you can hold the slightest hint over them to get them to do things for you.
“I’m not sure how I’m gonna tell my kid”
*Plays Bohemian Rhapsody*
bro just said he ain't laughing anymore
These interrogation videos are like watching someone play a card game. The misplays amaze you every time.
38:26 ''I did not NOT intentionally kill him'' she literally just admits here she did kill him intentionally lol
no, English allows for redoubling of negating words for emphasis. It's all about the punctuation.
I was wondering how many people noticed that haha
lets go new more patterz drop
Ok I already watched it on stream but well no harm in watching again.
You're so funny man!
42:24 Careful, I think that guy is casting a spell over there
“She lost someone in a suitcase” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Why shouldn't the police be able to lie to you in the interrogation room? There is rules on how the police are allowed to lie to you. They cannot coerce you into confessing for example. They have to throw out the interrogation if they do that and it'd look really bad for them, so it seems pretty fair to me.
"How do you as a 42 year old individual, lock someone inside a suitcase?"
Pausing right here just to say that I'm 42 and I am dumb as shit sometimes. I wouldn't ever forget I've locked someone in a suitcase, because I would never lock someone in a suitcase to begin with, that is terrifying. But I am capable of doing really stupid things.
The man probably couldn't get out because he was also intoxicated
They wait for the autopsy
Guess what my fav dog is? A Pog because this video is Pog KEKW

I had a similar incident at the age of like 6 or 7 LMAO a kid came to our house with his parents I didn't know him but he was nice I was playing with our giant toy box then it all went wrong... I got stuck in it started suffocating but when I started to see my life flash before my eyes I GOT COURAGE AND KICKED THE ROOF OF IT LIKE A CHAMP DANG SEVEN OR SIX YR OLD ME IS STRONGER THAN ME NOW LOL
Lol I would probably be more annoyed with the female detective’s attitude towards her if I didn’t understand that she was one of the first confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Florida. 😅Imagine having to deal with this while sick and not knowing what exactly is going on 😂
If you're doing videos like this.
Might I recommend the Ultimate Gentleman by Coffeehouse Crimes? Don't know if they'd allow it, but they've got some good videos.
There is hide in go seek tag, technically, but that's not what she said it was so it's still a lie.
Yeah if the whole story was told aboot the domestic charges , you'd know it was HER falsely accusing him of the abuse, charges never stuck
Whenever I hear rigor mortis I think of Rick and morty
I wasn’t interested by stuff like this, but after watching ur vids i find 4:20 them super interesting
23:10 she urdered her boyfriend almost 48 hours ago.... of course she does'nt look happy
Nah I have beef with the word intentionally now
She killed and she is a murder
The reason they keep asking her is because they are trying to determine if it was planned prior or an accidental murder
Interesting and shocking
I enjoy your true crimes videos dude
The detective doesn't like her because she's not a likeable person. Her attitude is gross, the way she talks to both of these detective's like they work for her is gross behavior.
Ok how do you fit someone in something as small as a suitcase pretty sure you cant fit a human in those
Apparently he was a real small guy, much smaller than her.
Sure you can, if the person is small enough and flexible enough. I could, but I wouldn't let someone zip it up.
So guys when r a suitcase bring a knife or have pocket knife at all times
Ikr, I always have a knife (except on a plane).
I watch too much true crime and tyrant police videos to know police can lie
She said I did not not kill him
Which is a double negative so she confessed she killed him
22:30 i think there about to tell her about the video if any one wants to skip to her seeing the video
Totally off topic. Please look at new alpharad scarlet and violet nuzlocke. It is surprisingly great.

There’s this guy called dragon something and he’s an incel and Andrew Tate Stan and he’s in some of the replies
22:59: I just realized, wait until deep fakes get better in the future and try to set ppl up in a fake video 😳
that would have to be some sort of evidence fraud though
Lol no it’s not a theory, she was abused and the abuser
Dr. Pepper is the goat
a
Dude I dunno how you've made it this far believing what she's saying😂
:P
E
Like, on one part I'm with her. But she was kind of an idiot in handling it, but that's what makes good content right? Should've pushed for the accidental and under the influence part. At least that'd be one or two charges not five.
Average pyrocynical viewers here ?
