- Funeral for the Todd family that died from carbon monoxide poisoning in their Princess Anne home. Father Rodney Todd was raising seven children after divorcing their mother.

Truly a tragedy. My father knew a guy who lost all 4 of his sons to a house fire on xmas eve. All the guy could say was "I lost my whole crew" I'm not sure how one moves on.

It's hell on earth! Sometimes I had to remind myself to breath! My body still aches for one more hug! His 29th birthday is coming up and the 9th anniversary in Sept. He was healthy! Except for having Epilepsy, and he had a heart stopping one in his sleep. That morning has burned in my soul and sometimes I cannot get it out of my head. I wouldn't wish this on anyone... Prayers going up for this precious family!!! This neighbor if they have any remorse, needs to, I'm sorry, I don't know what they should do. That is up to God not Man!

Let this be a lesson to everyone out there to pay your electric bill, even if you have to make a payment plan with the utility company. It's just not worth losing your life over a gas generator, which should NEVER be used inside the house, and definitely not as a source of warmth.
Maurice Rivers yeah but this should be on the landlord who didn't pay the OUTSTANDING bill BEFORE the family moved in. I guess he didn't have the funds and the power company refused to work with him.... according to the articles I've been reading.
Am I not my brother's keeper? Where's the church and community? Are we that distant from one another? This isn't just a heartache but a let down.

The community is missing so often these days, and the church is fractured with limited reach. Extended families are not what they once were and the fabric of our society has changed dramatically in the last 50 years. People are isolated and lack the support systems needed to function fully.
This father was trying to take care of these kids the best way he knew How
A gas powered generator was run in their house to provide electricity. The carbon monoxide fumes killed them.
After someone called the light company on him because he was stealing light that's how he ended up with the no good generator in the first place instead of who ever told mind there business or help them should feel very bad love one another this could've been avoided

I didn't want to say this because I didn't want to be rude but it's pretty much common knowledge that you don't run a generator indoors. They are run on gasoline, hence the carbon monoxide fumes. He should have known this but it's still sad. He was only trying to do the best he could.

What a tragedy. This is beyond anything I have ever experienced.
I remember hearing about this story and it stays on my mind. Their father did the best he could but unfortunately they all paid the ultimate price and are now resting in peace together still. This is such a heartbreaking tragedy that I never imagined id ever hear about. Literally the entire family of 8 is gone! I'm so sorry for their family's losses.
How can something like this happen. All I can say is they are still together and a family in heaven. This is as bad as it gets.
This was really sad such a wonderful beautiful family I remember when this happened it broke my heart single father that was raising all his kids by himself rip to all from Massachusetts 2023

I remember this story; it was tragic. My first thoughts were, we should be reaching out when there is a need, and the community should respond. This tragedy should not have happened.
He was a good dad ... he wasn’t rich with money but rich with love he gave his kids all he had ... where was the kids momma ... ☹️

I will never forget this heartbreaking tragedy, basically "how it happened". He was an amazing father, too. May their souls rest in Heaven 🙏🕊 with God.
This saddens me so much but yet angers me . Had the NEIGHBORS not COMPLAIN about the noise from the generator being outside this family would still be alive. Instead of complaining they should have been helping- and more understanding of the families situation. I wonder how they feel now that all is said and done.
they will have to live with that for the rest of their lives to...you know something is wrong if your neighbor is using a generator..you knew this man has ALL HIS kids sticking it out doing the best he could do and you complain about noise BUT can't ask if you could help in some way... GOD sees ALL ....

I'm a single dad of 5 and just had that problem in the house I move into had to stay at motel till problem was fix it scared the hell out of me knowing if we slept in the home that night we wouldn't be here today this is a problem that needs to be addressed more to avoid tragic situations like this r.i.p to all that lost there lives cause by this
