So true! Or at least it was until the mission 2 ugliness. Or the ridiculous Star Wars overlay. Now, what once was the best themed ride on earth, is just another generic coaster. Truly sad.
What a beautiful, beautiful piece of music for a ride that should never have been messed with. Maybe one day soon we'll be able to take another trip to the moon? :)
I get chills every time I hear this. It’s so disappointing that the colombiad is being used for hyper space mountain. It doesn’t fit with the theme of discorveryland! Disney must know how much magic the original attraction holds and how beloved it is by everyone, I really hope they bring it back for the rides 25th anniversary.
This was stunning - beautifully performed in Vienna. Oh how I wish Disneyland Paris would bring this original version back. HyperSpace Mountain is NOTHING on this!
I really hope one day they bring back the original Space Mountain to DLP, if they could bring back the Vincent Price narration to Phantom Manor, they can bring back the original Space Mountain.

J'ai simplement des larmes en écoutant ... ç'est invroyablement fort quand tu expériences *ça* à un certain âge et que ce monde de fascination pour le potentiel semblablement illimité de l'espoir dans l'invention humaine, les sciences et "la génie créative" qui fut émané de cette attraction, tant que la bande sonore majestique du "Timekeeper" (par Bruce Broughton)... Aussi la bande originale de "Dinosaurs" par James Horner (spécifiquement " Across The Desert") me transporte instantément à cette mémoire de mon enfance.
