Tallest Buildings by Country Ranking

- The following is a list of the tallest buildings in the world by country listing only the tallest building in each country. The list is including only completed (or at least topped-out) buildings. A total of 20 countries featured in the list have supertall skyscrapers (300 m and more). Many countries have constructed new tallest buildings in the 2010s, with the oldest tallest building in a country being St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican City, which has stood as the country's tallest building since 1652.
The list includes the tallest (completed or topped out) buildings in each country in the world. All measurements are as defined and recognised by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH). Heights are measured to Architectural Top, with antennae being included. Each country represented by one building only, which is the tallest building in those countries.

Korea has a 245.6-meter golden building built in 1985. They call it 63 Building because it has 63 floors. It was once the tallest building in East Asia.

Funfact : Petronas Tower was build by 2 different company. Tower 1 by Hazama (Japan) and tower 2 by Samsung (S.Korea)

In Poland, currently the tallest building is Varso Tower, 310 m.
YES, shameful tower. A building that had a giant spire attached to it, only to be 40 centimeters taller than the current tallest building in the EU at the time.
The tower itself is good, 230 meters, but the spire of 80 meters made it the laughingstock of Europe.
It looked so cheap.
It turned out to be especially funny that Britain left the EU, and it was possible to build 50 meters lower, but honestly.

It's really interesting to learn that the tallest buildings in Japan, Mexico and Australia are not located in their respective largest cities.
Same for Vietnam, Germany, and Saudi Arabia, but it mainly has to do with the economy in the area (like Monterrey has a greater economy than Mexico City).
