2:33 If you use Logic you can also use a Gain plugin to do the same thing
(I know the creator of the video uses ProTools but different DAW, same thing)
EDIT: Make sure you delay them relative to each other or the left and right will mostly cancel, leaving a mostly silent song due to polarity inversions.
Waves NLS channels offer not only frequency domain distortion but time domain distortion as well. Meaning if you run a mono kick drum through any of the dual mono channels and monitor the stereo image of the output of the stereo NLS instance, you dont get a total vertical line in the phase scope. And different channels offer a different variety too. Worth checking out.

Stock Pro Tools Mod Delay 3 also has the L/R polarity switch
When played over a stereos got to have a certain kind of distortion to make it come together
Is the effect of the base is multiple signals in one device is impossible because you can't have two different frequencies going through an app without something being sacrificed
