Lead Singer : Deborah Jean Cooper [First a backing singer for the Fatback Band, she joined Change from 1981 to 1985. During the 1990s she was a member of C + C Music Factory. She is also a highly demanded session musician and her voice can be heard on recordings ranging from house music to radio commercials.]
This song definitely takes me back during my time living in the Bay Area. There was this club in Emeryville California called Silks and it was a huge three or four story building with different dance floors and Drew people who live in Oakland, San Francisco, Berkeley, Vallejo, Sacramento, and San Jose! Man, it sooooo many fine honeys and if you couldn’t hookup with one and take them Denny’s for breakfast after the club (Which was down the street from the club) them your game is super weak!! And that is definitely a” Change of Heart”!
Great song remember it well 17 I was then past my driving test same year 1984 and pumping tunes like change of heart magic touch cool notes lisa lisa can I take you home on them days a tape cassette bring them good old days back
The most beautiful song of change, this lady got soul you can feel when she sings.charming charming.I shall listen to this song in my starship alone when I passage the oorth cloud into eternityy.
OHHHH WOW! Out of all the bands from this era and just before Change and Slave are two with so LITTLE coverage in terms of LIVE concert footage or TV music show appearances. THANKS FOR THIS! Finally get to see them in action. These gusy had a very SOS Band sound with licks of Chic.
Man.. This sounds nearly like the Studio Recording but little things are telling me that it's recorded off the Board at this Live Performance.. That's A MAZING!!!
Grande successo The Glow of love
Origina Group? The Change group is an all-ITALIAN project. The project was attended by the composer, multi-instrumentalist and arranger Mauro Malavasi and the musicians also composers and arrangers Paolo Gianolio (guitar) and Davide Romani (bass) producer Jacques Fred Petrus
Based on the wikipedia entry, the group was spearheaded by Jacques Fred Petrus, who was French West Indian, along with two Italians, "The band's dual Italian and American identity was a result of a production system in which the music, excepting the vocals, were written and recorded by Italian collaborators in studios such as Fonoprint Studios, Bologna, Italy. These backing tracks were then sent to the USA where vocals were added by American performers, before being mixed into finalised versions"
Sure, but what do vocalists have to do with it (especially the great Luther Vandross #1 ever). I'm talking about the musicians who are the founders of the group. Paolo Gianolio guitar - Mauro Malavasi Multi-instrumentalist - Davide Romani Electric bass, while the well-known French-Italian entrepreneur Jacques Fred Petrus was employed for the production. This is a fact.
Its better to hear the record than to see them. Its off! The band look does not match the great song.....Sorry. The best look Change Had was the Album Miracles.......
