Touching interview and much respect to this couple. I wish them peace and serenity.
I’ve watched a lot of crime documentaries in my time, but something about this one really got to me. I want to just go back in time and save her. This is so horrible and I just can’t get it out of my head. My heart hurts so bad and I didn’t even know her.

I can just imagine what type of person Kim was with parents like this. Caring, intelligent, determined and strong minded.

Just finding out about this story through the HBO series “The Investigation” and as always, so impressed by how Skavlan skillfully conducts this interview with the beautiful parents of Kim Wall. The interview focuses on how Kim touched the world instead of it just being about how her life came to an end by true evil. I really appreciate that throughout this interview and the HBO series, the person responsible for Kim’s death is not named, and not given any time. We must remember Kim for her strength and her determination to tell the stories of those without a voice or a platform, even in the face of danger. The world has lost a beautiful person but her parents will make sure that Kim remains an inspiration to many.
Like a flower she grew, beautiful and people admired her. But somebody came by and brutally stepped on the beautiful flower. It crushed the flower and our hearts. But she will be remembered as the beautiful flower who grew strong and beautiful.
Her parents most likely worried about her safety all the time with her line of work but to lose her in such a horrific way in one of the safest places and so close to home is just so heartbreaking
This is a hard watch. So painful. God bless.
Living in Australia, I was unaware of this heinous crime. Many times while watching, I struggled to read the subtitles through the tears streaming down my face. I know it's several years since this interview was done, but I know from personal experience, losing someone leaves a permanent hole in your heart. My sincere hope is for this couple to have found some measure of peace. I'd also like to praise Skavlan for a moderating an empathetic and respectful interview. 😢
I can't even imagine the horrific pain a parent feels going through this. My heart is very broken for Kim's family still after all these years. The monster really deserves the worst punishment in the world.
