- I used old Russian Folks musics, this one particularly sound warm and full for its age.
Nakamichi sound system are rated at a high wattage, it's can do louder sound and more full compared to normal Pioneer system, the Nakamichi speakers are higher end, different from Pioneer speakers, they also more rare on the early LS.
Not many people testing their Nakamichi so I make one for you curious people to enjoy.

Still one of the best sound systems I have ever heard. Had one in my ES300 and SC300 and it rattled the whole car. I wish Lexus would go back to Nakamichi instead of Mark Levinson.
The 2007 LS460 Mark Levinson absolutely beautiful, and beautifully warm, but they don't have that clarity of the Nakamichi

Just bought a 1998 ES300- to my shock it does indeed have the Nakamichi stereo! Literally shakes the entire car, I am stunned at the quality!!! Paid $1200 for the whole car- on the window sticker I have here it says the Nak alone was a $1600 option (in '98!)
Yup! Nak made amazing system back in the 80s and 90s...they were dominated the High End Cassette Deck market.
3 of my door speaker 4" speakers on my '94 are out. Been trying to find something comparable... It seems like an impossible task 😢
Junk yard, you can find them easily in gôd condition.
