It's satisfying to see an MC standing up for herself ,or rather expressing her true feelings, instead of trying to be a saint and forgives everything on the spot.

I can understand what Aileen is going through. After finding out the man she love that used to love her simply have his memories about her vanish into thin air like that while holding it all in trying to get Claude to remember her if just a little only for things to turnout in a way where she can no longer endure the rush of painful emotions she's been keeping in check. It goes to show despite how rational someone may seem on the outside, that doesn't mean they're not having an internal conflict on the inside.
Why is he protecting that other girl and why did he lose his memories
â@@Anonymous-jj9yu long story short both the protagonist and the other chick are reincarnated. The characters in the world follow a coding from the game so if certain conditions are met, they will lose all autonomy and will be in line of what the coding of the game had for them.
While protagonist is using her knowledge of the game to escape death and have a good life where everyone is their own self, the other chic is exploiting the game knowledge to further her ends as she still thinks this is a game and not her real life so after a daring meeting she is using her game knowledge to make MC life hell just for the funsies
So my thing would be, does this mean that if Lili had met him 1st he would have fell for her instead, because its starting to look that way. Aileen saved his life from her and now that he lost his memories, he lost his love for Aileen too? đ€đ„ș sad but it makes me question his character.

The fact that she whiled to forgive him when he wanted to get rid of her but also not forgive him because he protected lilia infront of her and that what made it so unbearable it's hurts it just shows that he care for lilia more than her even when he doesn't remember both of them in logical way he should at least be attracted to the person he loves not the opposite onel and that's why she was so sad

The level of bulshitness of this second arc is killing me, which makes me really sad cuz the first arc was really nice.

@@candyfreaky The level of dumb in the school plot was really high which made the plot feel forced, and this arc isn't helping matters by taking one of the most tired romance tropes (the man loses his memories, forgets he loves the girl, but his heart still knows it and keeps him agonizing, the girl comes back in with a Deus ex Machina to get past the villain/fake lover to the boy, when she kisses him he remembers everything again, boy is instantly forgiven of all the horrible things he did while the memories were gone)
Like if we're gonna do an amnesia arc, at least have it be that Aileen's helpers find a medicine or some kind of concoction that either brings back the memories or knocks homeboy out until they can think up a solution. They don't even have to do it because she begs or anything, his closest advisors should understand that a crown prince who can't help but control the weather with his moods is a literal natural calamity about to be brought down on the heads of his entire kingdom.

Personally I think those tropes fits the animeâs plot because itâs not only an isekai in a fantasy medieval world but it also takes place in an otome game . And as yk these types of games are known for their cliches tropes and their over the top characters like Aileen shouldâve been.
Ofc this doesnât mean they couldnât have made a better plot line but still it explains everything the characters are going through and as for the short development or pace of the anime we can also explain this by the fact that this is an otome game which means it works by chapters, and the school segment was kinda rushed because itâs a spin off of the game which is likely to be a dlc .

so beelzebuth and Keith go and see Claude. Keith gives him a telling of for telling a lady she was ' uneeded ' Keith Teases him about aileen, and also jokes about how many minions she has aswell and wouldn't look good if Claude ended the engagement. That he would have more enemies, no magic and no demons to protect hin. that it would make him vulnerable. Claude is furious that even though alieen was his fiance she was allowed to have that many ' male 'minions. (That part I laughed ) but then he feels comfortable with the conversation he is having with keith , that words were just slipping out. As he tells him he felt happy that he made that tough, stubborn woman cry and he realized his feelings for alieen which is still ' make her cry and to spoil her rotten ' and he wonders if there is something wrong with him feeling that way. Still doesn't have his memories back though. But Keith makes him realize that he is being used and that him losing his memories were planned. So Claude orders Keith and beelzebuth to bring alieen to the dance. After her telling them she did not want to go and also before she was told about Claude wanting her to attend the ball she was saying if Claude didn't get his memories back that she would just become demon king and marry ether beelzebuth or James đ€Ł which is hilarious hopefully they add that part in lol. Alieen goes to the ball eventually but comes wearing her duck head đ€Ł (probably in hopes to spark something in his memories with her past shenanigans) and obviously Claude takes her somewhere private from the ball and is teasing her and what not looking like the old Claude (still no memories) will skip this part, cause just all cute. So she goes and gets herself refreshed and then that back stabbing elfas trys to do one to our girl but she pulls out her holy sword and he pulls out Lil cage that has almond in it. So she's forced to comply and follows him to the ballroom along side the empress. Claude grandmother is using the Levi tribe for their magic and majority of her beauty is from the demon king magic. So put that together and elfas was the one that stabbed Claude because not only of the empress but lily gosh she makes me mad. Anyway empress is like she's not fit to be your fiance she's with these other guys talking about her minions lol and elfas puts on a big show like yeah she came to me because she was lonely and what not. Claude is telling her say you love me and I will believe you. But she for the sake of almond she lies and calls him monster and then you hear almond says she lies and then instantly almond died Claude sees it and it triggers him. I not to sure how the anime is going to show it because the scene where Claude and lily carriage is taken by the one eye demon in the novel it ended being a big fight where alieen called to her holy sword but ended the same with the demon telling her she was not needed so yeah that's how far I gonna go I could talk about it for ages I feel like it

It really cool to because watching the anime then reading the light novel you can easily visualize the characters reactions and how they say it haha like when aileen went to the ball Claude really did pick her up over his shoulder and told everyone to make a path for him and which they did. She felt like it was so unfair and then she trys to call out to her minions for help but none of them come they just look away because alieen is just being alieen đ€Ł I skipped that part cause yeah just all cute. But yes definitely Lil details i didn't mention
