I did that all the time as a kid, but I also went through a lot of bike tires back then 🤣
In last one, if we take a small bottle and stuck it tightly in mudguard, so it will also work

The first one is useless, youre just sucking air in and out of the tire. Even if you'll do it for a year the tire will never be filled

It needs a non return valve that lets it draw air in and then closes to stop it escaping when you pump,would be better just keeping the pump he took all the parts off of.
