Here's a short and simple world by Mariovariable. It sat in my inbox of requests for ages until I decided to do some more Mario videos. I chose this one because it seemed nice and straightforward, which is what I wanted. I didn't want something too elaborate that would require a whole series to make, like The Minus Worlds or some other big projects like that - not after taking such a big break from playing any Mario games.
World Y is plain and standard - that's it. Nothing more, nothing less. It's not a BAD world by any means, no way, but it doesn't stand out either. Actually, one thing that DOES stand out is a glitch in the game that causes it to automatically reset when you're down to 0 lives, so instead of getting one more try, you get sent back to the menu screen. That's like having one less life by default ! To be honest, it wasn't nearly as annoying as I was expecting it to be, because the game saves your progress and starts you off at the last level you reached, so it's not THAT much of a big deal, but still counts as a flaw. My favourite legend is back. I cried after seeing his video. i am now 19 years old and playing mario forever from 6 years old. I love daniel's videos a lot and i've been missing it from a long time
same with me ! i played mario forever when i was a young girl (7-8 years old) , now i'm in college but i still play it . to see DGV back is happiness for me

8:15 This bug happens because when you are at your last life, the game loads the game over screen, but the "GAME OVER" text and music will not play, and Mario is still playable.
The "GAME OVER" scene plays for a while, and when it finishes, the game resets.
16:40 Oh, no... The Glitch Gremlin from Mario Forever Human Laboratory 2 is back, didn't even appeared since 5-7 years...

@@MrPrzemistrz Your world XVII-III's Bowser gives me some trouble. It's kinda tough fight but I managed to conquer that. It felt very concerning of how we can pass that looking at the application of hazards there... (6 podopos) Later on, after taking the checkpoint I attempted to take that 1-up and for God sakes.. I died right at the moment falling to the lava.
Your game truly feels a pain to my brain. xD

@@MrPrzemistrz No problem friend :-) Despite having an outrageous difficulty in some levels or world, this game is worth of being one of the best ones on the MF fangames list. It's one of those popular games with many many different gimmicks & stratagems in the levels as we progress further... I would really to like to lay emphasis on the creativity & unbelievable ideas you've had while preparing those levels. I watched many videos about teasers/trailers of the main worlds which are almost 5-6 years ago.. and I'm overwhelmed by the amount of work you put in those worlds. Having stated about world XVII-III earlier, I can't deny the fact that the background was the main spotlight in that level itself. I'm stunned to see your hardwork and level balancing out there and the outcome was much desired 🙂❤️ No need to say sorry... I'll prolly try that again with all hopes.

I'm very happy to coming back with Mario Forever! You can play all letters from A to Z in Mario Worker: Letter Worlds Series v1.51 and I suggest to check Mario Forever Remake v4.02 for Crist1919's Minus Worlds and new worlds!
I think your requests may be very hard to be granted, since in Mario Forever Remake you still haven't continue options or something like that.
This fact would be even worse if you play World -11 and -12, unless you are a Mario Forever super player.

This is not a request, just more of an update regarding SMBX: have you heard of a 3rd invasion episode being in the works? It's going to introduce a big chunk of new features really, a truly big chunk.
I just posted something on my Facebook page. Ironically, I just installed SMBX again :)) I saw there's a sequel to the first "Invasion", but now that you mention in, I wonder if "Invasion 3" is going to be a redesigned version of the originals, or a new series entirely. If so, maybe it's best I just wait for it to get released, so I don't play the same thing 3 times in a row, just with small differences...
@@DanielsGameVault Also, if you're going to play SMBX, you may try versions 1.4 and 2.0, which brought new content and features over old 1.3, which wasn't updated by its original creator, Redigit, anymore.

EDIT: I think I know what happened from the technical point of view. It happens when you have zero lives, always after exactly six seconds and screen slowly fades out - it's a "silent" Game Over sequence. :P
Roman World XVII-III is very hard to pass (atleast the Bowser) :-(

I think the author accidentally left the game over objects on the playfield of first two levels, so technically game over sequence is always being processed, but doesn't get triggered until you hit any button after 6 seconds at 0 lives
So far, your upload rate is wonky. Do you plan on continuing uploads? At leas once a week or so

Yeah dude u are right! U are playing an old version of World Y because I already played it twice and didn't experience that glitch! And btw....even for being a long world, it's comparatively easier than its predecessors U, V, W, X!

And btw...now TMV has released letter worlds in a complete standalone segment...with an existing continue system (pretty much like how standalone games function) from worlds A to Z including an unlockable new character ;p
Also good news!!! H Series by 2233 has finally been updated!!! Now it includes new worlds, continues, balance and more stuff! So pls upload the existing letter world gameplays through the "new LWS game" and try a hand at H series too! Really even I downloaded the game this week only am trying now...to beat World H6 since that's where I got stuck in no-continue system.

Glad you´re once again back there Daniel!!. World Y´s kinda hard when talking about its overall toughness, but isn´t very long regarding the lenght features, as it has a total of 5 levels. Plus i´d also like to wish ya good luck while overcoming World Z, which´s a 13-level length journey (If including the Final Bowser stage as well) , and it's hellishly difficult at some points (Especially, the last 2 levels and the Final Bowser in case you are either careless or if you hadn´t practiced enough).. Greetings.

Well, World Y is actually a small part of MarioVariable's 26-world Letter Worlds series, if you want you can try it but judging on its length, I guess it will take a lot of time to play lol
It's nice that you're back! I don't really agree with this world being bog-standard, thwimps, bullet generators, upside-down ?-blocks etc. don't look "100% standard" to me, but it seems you just aren't easy to amuse unless it's something radical, like adding a walljump or a shmup or smth. Still, i enjoyed your playthrough.

The music in level 2 is from Super Mario Run Underground Level, which also fits the level since it is also an auto-scroller
