Hey Techne the other day I asked about what headset to get for call of duty on my ipad. You recommended going for something with a wireless receiver. Im looking at the arctis 7p+ but because your the man when it comes to headphones I wanted to ask before I pull the trigger is that my best option in your opinion?
Have you considered testing the PG16 headset from Austrian Audio? It's a company with former employees from AKG so the quality could be actually quite good at an quite affordable price.

I’ve been rocking the Cloud II’s for two weeks straight & I’m really satisfied with the comfort & sound. I found my new daily driver paired up with their QuadCast S

Cloud 2's and Alphas are much better with wicked cushion cooling gel eatpads....so they feel as comfortable as like the Turtle beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 and that cooling gel keeps your ears from getting the equivalent of "swamp ass" in your ears from long gaming sessions....or even jobs that require wearing Bluetooth headset for speaking on the phone.
Def worth the $25 investment, and they fit like 50 different headsets.

What headset would you guys recommend for fps gaming that has a really good mix. I currently have a blackshark v2 Pro wireless but the mic is so bad
been using corsair HS80 by far the best wireless headset and mic so far (check reviews for vouch) the battery is kinda a bit flaw but on the good note, u can use it while charging.
Best Buy has this model 70 for black and 60 for white.

How do you compare the HS65 with the Cloud Alpha? Does the HS65 sounds better than HyperX Cloud Alpha?
This is something id love to know being an alpha user. I do hate the mic mute button on it
the mic upgrade would be worth the upgrade alone. Hyperx mic's are cheapy. its one of the only flaws with their headsets, but when i switch from alphas to my Kaira pro's oh man like night and day mic and would be the same here. i would probably got HS80 tho. but the 65 with that tuned profile thing might be worth checking out.

This pair sounds amazing , the settings you could adjust are crazy with the software but man the structural integrity is bad. Both ends that attach to the ear caps snapped on me after about 8 months .
where you did its settings because i installed its software called icue i cant see my head phone there ?

Alright this is a decent headset blah blah blah. Anyways the real reason I came here is to ask you guys if the headset's earpads also tend to start peeling off after like 6 months? I have a warranty on mine so no issue really but I did ask for store credit after the first time it happened and they refused and gave me a new one instead, now 5 months later it is starting to happen again. Is this a problem you guys are also having or is it just me?

1- do they get loud?
2- do they distort at max volume?
3- can I experience atmos on my series X?

headphone is quite tight on the side of your head, i'm leaving it out to stretch.

Had them for about a year and they broke right at that plastic bracket; Great headset just gotta realize they ain’t the most long lasting.
I bought a Corsair headset In 2020 and it lasted 2 years just gotta take care of your stuff

Bruh you know headsets are getting so far that even the budget versions microphone almost sounds better than the mic you use for vids barely able to tell the difference between them
the plastic on mine broke and now half of it just hangs
the plastic sides on the top of the actual earmufs, it cracked when stretched
This is an impressive headset, but there is a flaw in them. On both PC and console, when you turn up the volume on the headset, your squad mates can here their own voices echo back. It’s really annoying. Most of these cheap plastic headsets have this problem unless made by Sennheiser/EPOS. I don’t have this problem with my EPOS H6PRO.

Non detachable mic is definitely no go for me
I don't mind and that as much as a non removable cable. That gets defective the headset is trash. At least with removable cable it is usually replaceable.
