@@supermysticsonic2 Yup, that thing *_shreds,_* especially with the increase in DoT. 😳 With my 400+ energy wisp I've been able to keep it up near permanently and melt entire rooms. I have a feeling I made my allies angry at points that's how bad it was. Also, with the penetrative of enemies, it makes for an incredible corridor-clearer (which need i remind everyone is 90% of Warframe's levels 😂) Not to mention her motes empower it and you're supposed to hold to power it up more, so I'm guessing some people are just sheep who only listen to youtubers and haven't actually bothered to read her abilities. 😂 Then again I wouldn't blame them, this _is_ warframe we're talking about after all.. the always-on-instakill-spamfest game itself.

Am I the only one who finds it ironic that Sentients were attacking Wisp while she was maintaining the grove with her mote? The Sentient's entire reason for invading the origin system was to prevent the Orokin from ruining Tau as they did Earth, and they're attacking Wisp who is using the mote to facilitate new growth. Also, as everyone else has pointed out, that transition between cinematic and gameplay was perfectly seamless, and I can't wait to see if any trailer in Tennocon will have this transition.
It really goes to show how far from the second dream the fight has gotten. Lead no longer by Hunhow with now a focus on cult like dominion. Ballas tried deleting the sun and the Archons are purely power hungry. A far cry from Hunhow’s methods.
I returned to this game after some years of absence and discovered Wisp, as a person who prefers to support the others she's wonderful... So hyped about her Prime version
So... Wisp, the warframe, is based on a dream that Ballas had, about a place untouched by the Orokin, a place for him to escape. Interesting, the multiversal theory and the Eternalism seems to be fusing together. By the way, I loved the scen where Ballas says her name. It seems like, in lore, she can extract the Oro from the Sentients, their life.
oh man imagine a mote augment that turns the zones into aoe damage zones against enemies like the eximus auras, like hp magnetic and toxin zones. (I'd say electric, but the shock mote already does the zappy)
Well most of the Origin System was in shambles. Corpus lore indicates Ballas was even among the orokin one of the few relatively safer from the consequences and even then he is the one that indirectly convinced the rest to approve of making the Sentients to terraform Tau. The moment the Sentients rebel means the Orokin are stuck in a ruined system and would be forced to start improving it. So while originally they couldn’t care less about Earth per the Silver Groove, sooner or later during the war they’d forced to take care of it, indicated in this trailer. Though I guess Wisp was also purposed for war instead of just curing the planet
@@lordseven7435 breaking the origin system was a mistake caused by the war - the infestation was a bioweapon that got loose, and the reason it was tried was because the sentients came. Still, who knows what "pure" means for the sentients, probably a world devoid of human life entirely.
I think he was simply talking about how they sent the Sentients (the custodians he mentioned) to Tau in order to "cultivate" and terraform that system, but when he "reached" back out to them, SHE (I assume this is the Sentient as a whole he's referring to), "slipped from him", betrayed the Orokin I suppose. So he "casts in flesh", referring to creation of Wisp...I suppose it's more safeguarded and less likely to go rouge like the Sentients :V
@@sivel7493 I've been rewatching this trailer a lot of times, and now I have a lot of different theories on the real reason behind the Sentient's return to the Origin System. I always found weird how the Sentients went rogue just like that. There is no real evidence that shows how they actually gained sentience. They were just primitive AI with adaptive abilities. How does that makes them go rogue? So, I actually think that the Sentients made contact with another species of sentient beings that, just like the Tenno, had the capability to harness the void to some extent or had technology good enough to damage them enough to kill them before they adapted to it, and had to develop weaponry to overcome them through raw numbers and firepower. At some point, someone from the natives of the Tau system captured and hacked a Sentient Mind (like Hunhow, Pragassa, Lotus or Erra) and modified their original programing and infused in them hatred towards the Orokin. Instead, they gained hatred towards all the living. Then, after the fall of the natives of Tau, they started actually conquering the entire Tau System, including the colonies of the natives of the Tau System and finally decided to come back to Origin to erradicate the entire Orokin civilization and all the cultures that flowrished under their reign. That is how Hunhow got his moniker as "The Destroyer of Worlds". That is why they came back with sentient units already oriented to combat and war, and not only to terraform. Now, I do think that Ballas, as the one to promote the Sentient Project, had a way to see how the Sentients were developing from the safety of his golden throne here in Origin and actually witnessed the entire Conflict between Tau and the Sentients. That is how he "saw" wisp on a "dream". Maybe Wisp's design is based in some way on a Tau Warrior of sorts that he saw through the link he used to supervise the Sentient Terraforming, got cautivated by the way said Warrior fought and finally decided to use that as the base for Wisp when the sentients finally returned to wage war against their creators. That would explain why was Ballas the only one to reach to Hunhow to propose his betrayal. Or do you seriously believe that if any other Orokin wouldn't do the same if the had the opportunity? Orokin are very well known for being selfish, egotistic individuals. Either that, or just as simply as you said, it is all a form to say that the orokin lost control over the Sentients.

The visual is too different, there are too many roots that are intertwined throughout the cave + the roots at the top are excessively large and such roots can only be found in mutated trees on Earth and grass that looks ordinary, and not like in Duviri "fabulous". Further, Ballas in a monologue talks about the "New Earth" and here, too, there is no connection with the Duviri, but I generally keep quiet about sentient))

for those who wonder it is the duviri caves in the trailer. i just wonder how the sentients got access or if it is just show case as allways. most likely just showcase like with all primes. most likely enviorment and fight just used for showcase like they do for all primes. they just retouched the duviri ones slightly with more tree vines for this showcase. that is why it looks slightly familiar.

Been waiting for her. Wisp was released when I came back after a long hiatus and was my favorite - my preferred gameplay style. Now she's going Prime and I'm here for it.

Isn't the cadence like every 3 months for a new Prime Access? Same for new Warframe releases. So per year it's 4 new Warframes and 4 new Primes. I just came back to the game 2 months ago, so i'm in the same boat like you are 🤣
They explained it in the devstream that they were stretching the Hildryn Prime access by 10 days to ensure that there is 100 days of Hildryn Prime before Wisp Prime. We thought that its because their team size being small finally taking a toll on them during the Tennocon preparations since they also have to do the Prime Trailer they announced in the devstream but the QoL update they announced in a dev workshop post yesterday kinda explained why they extended it.

by like a month or two iirc
They explained it in the devstream that they were stretching the Hildryn Prime access by 10 days to ensure that there is 100 days of Hildryn Prime before Wisp Prime. We thought that its because their team size being small finally taking a toll on them during the Tennocon preparations since they also have to do the Prime Trailer they announced in the devstream but the QoL update they announced in a dev workshop post yesterday kinda explained why they extended it.
