NTA, they just want her to have an option should it ever come to that. I can understand why they feel negatively about it, but if there's no potential cause for a divorce then there's no worries.

Good parents. Husband shouldn’t be upset since this never would have happened if he’d created a more generous prenuptial agreement with this wife in the first place. Also, the fact that he created a prenup shows that he knows exactly where her parents are coming from, so he should be more understanding.
