Deltarune Chapter 2 - Beating Rouxls Kaard in 2 turns

Haven't uploaded in like a year hi. anyways I wouldn't have uploaded this but I genuinely couldn't find any other documentation of this

UPDATE: Looked at a few speedruns, I think what happened is I got lucky with the RNG and Rouxls decided to capture the houses in a square rather than reaching out, which let me box him in with a measley 4 houses on his side
I found a speedrun where they had boxed Rouxls in when he had 3 houses, so as far as I know, that's the absolute minimum he's able to take in this fight. Still, the fastest this fight can go is 2 player turns.

roulxs with 2 houses might be possible with some better luck? idk if he can take just 1 but I'd assume so

@@MapleZer0 He automatically takes 2 houses, and you don't reach him in time to stop him from taking those. So, he will pretty much always take 2 houses before you win

Guys, I purposely lost on Rouxls Kaard to see what happened. He just threatens you with the "Ultimate Rouxls power" and starts glowing, but falls down turned into stone as usual and he beggs for at least watching the pic you took earlier with Ralsei

i remember getting a 2 turn on him either on launch or when i replayed it when ch.2 dropped on switch. glad to see this documented

Fun fact: *IF I RECALL CORRECTLY*
The houses you get before the battle starts (while you are riding the boat) actualy determine how much tp ypu start the battle this is why they started with 25 and i think the maximum is 35

Rouxls Kaard's fight is a special case, because it gives you more TP beforehand depending on the houses you grazed in the river, allowing for an opening move like this

I beat him in 3 turns in my first blind run and I didn't even understand what the objective of the fight was until the third turn where I realized what was happening, chose "take 4 houses" and just bridged across the map to him. He only got 5 houses down in total before I won.

You can tie in 1 easily or even win in 1 with extra tp

The max houses you can take in one turn is 4 so even if you started with max tp you couldn't win in 1 turn
