#duramax #powerstroke #cumminsnation - Auta a dopravnĂ prostĆedky
I'm not crying cuz it beats my cummins. I'm crying cuz it makes me feel broke as a joke. That thing probably costs more than my house. And it's pretty nice. That is one work of man art.
Literally cummins killer what did it take 1/4 million in parts and labor especially all the custom tubular work
This truck is a work of art. Although I cheer this truck on, I think It's a tall task to dethrone the top Cummins guys and do it consistently-thats the challenge. I'm a duramax guy but when it gets to this level of Hp there has been a consistent winner in this class. Hopefully all the years of work, R&D and shit tons of money it will pay off this year.
Iâm willingly to bet itâs way cheaper to achieve 3000hp in a Cummins
@@TruckMaster this is probably one of the most expensive ways possible, to successfully achieve 3k hp...
Yeah, cummins has been racing since 1930 and finding new ways to make a stronger lighter better engine for a 100+ years.
Beast of a truck. I love the way she sounds. Go team duramax!
I've seen this truck run multiple times and man is it something to watch! INSANE! Best truck at any event it goes to.
Where did it finish at down in diesels in dark corners
Why would I be a hater of that sexy billet monster? I love Cummins and I won't drive anything else, but I am also a gear head and love anything that makes stupid power. Glad to see they are finally getting the DX somewhere, it was a lot of hype for a long time. Wagler is awesome, I use nothing but their rods in my Cummins. Great video thanks for sharing!
Chris and Wes kuslick are nice down to earth people. I was looking at the truck at the schied diesel extravaganza and they invited me to eat lunch with them. Burgers and all the works. They didn't know me from adam. The earlier truck did win at schieds in the past a few times. I'm thinking it was the 3.0 class but not totally sure.
Iâm a Cummins guy but I do love duramax as well both are good engines
These are the guys (Banks included) who should be designing stock engines for GM, Ford and Dodge. No nonsense diesel without all the crap we average folks have to pay for.
I have a cummins but the truth is I just love all diesels
Also worth mentioning, those are fuel only numbers. Not sprayed like you see at UCC or other dyno competitions or drag races
â@Travis Klaassen yes you can. There's fuel only numbers and spray numbers.
yea but 3200 on a billet diesel is nothing to really break any records. the fire punk team and D&J team already did a mild set up at 3k on their billet cummins and also there has been cast blocks that have held together at 3k. dont really understand how any of this is impressive when an engine with 2 less cylinders can do this like 2 seasons ago. all i gotta say is its about time.
@@The_Meekster they are doing it on spray though⊠fuel only is what makes it impressive
@Jay Bee yep im a "youngin" alright... i havent replied because arguing fuel only vs spray is kind of a topic that doesnt exist because in the end horsepower is the same regardless of how its made. make 1500hp on fuel only and being able to spray to 3k is just an easier way especially when nitrous cools so when you say your on fuel only your either doing a water injection of some sort to keep egts down or your just washing out cylinders with the amount of fuel and running exteme egts. anyone can throw a bunch of fuel at an engine especially with a mechanical pump. try doing anything else with that engine. where as fire punk with 2 less cylinders will and can run circles around this truck. im not a cummins fan boy by any means but when it takes billet blocks and a lot of money to get where a cummins has been with cast blocks which is a huge price difference. The proof is in the puddin and before you say anything i do own all three major brands and i have built all 3 to over a thousand. would i do it again no, because my time and money is in big trucks.
Huh?? Ever think to yourself that you should've just kept that comment to yourself?
Use to see Craig pull his stock and almost stock trucks for many years around north west Wisconsin and everything else after that, that he has built! He has been vary successful pulling throughout the years especially for all the r&d that he did for years!!
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!! A WORK OF ART!!!! I only ever known Chevrolet and LOVE the trucks! More content on this BEAST please!!!!
That truck looks like a beast. That is incredible. Love it. I have a 2006 Lbz. I love that truck.
Wagler is who built my engine. Lower end is all Billet. (crank, mains, girdle, ringedâŠetc) But honestly, if you throw enough money at something, itâll run good (ford, dodge GMC). Truck looks good.
I am a die hard cummins guy but I like them all. Personally at this level itâs turning into what survives⊠we have plenty of fuel and turbo tech to make big power. Itâs just whether or not the motor stays together.
at this point its all hear say ive yet to see a wagler engine dyno anything close to 3k hp
The sound of those turbos it absolutely music to my ears.
11:12 I totally agree with mark. Lots and lots of BOOST!!! đ
I am not gonna cry because the blind squirrel finally got a nut! Congrats... beautiful truck. I prefer a Cummins but this is really good.
Truck is insane to see run. Never disappoints. Maybe I'm a lttle biased to the western wisconsin trucks but one of my favorites for sure
Love this truck man I go to bowling green Ohio every year and love the truck itâs one of a kind bad a** dirt eating sled pulling machine keep it up man canât wait to see u this year đ
Used to work on previous versions of that truck in Kusilekâs shop. Good times. It has come a long ways since then.
Hell of a truck...can't wait to see this guy at Tomah !!
The Wifemax is going to be wicked and VERY beautiful.
make this a Hi-Rail truck and use it as the locomotive at the railroad yard where i work. to help put the numbers in perspective: the 1979 EMD GP40 locomotive we use is "rated" 3000hp and the road units are only 4400hp.
I love both engines, but me as a chevy guy, duramaxes go first, thats good that duramax is finally getting somewhere!đ°đž
Great video... what a cool truck ... nothing like a good truck and tractor pull on a Friday and Saturday night with your favorite sweetheart and some good friends.... well Mudd bogs and circle track racing and oh yeah don't forget the monster trucks... great date nights... well a state or county fair is good too... lol... someone should write a country song about such things !!
Lol.. I could see smoke coming from you and Mark... the gears were turning... TRUCKMASTER PULLING TEAM... I say go for it...
Kudos as always Truckmaster, and Mrs. Truckmaster.
đđ
Your not kidding itâs a cool experience đ

Been watching this truck for years since it was first built. He keeps saying duramax "is coming" for cummins but they sure aren't there yet, and he knows it.
When was the first one built 2006? I know it's been a while. I'm glad they are running the Dmax. It's definitely been an up hill battle.
This truck won a couple of events toward the end of last year. Itâs getting there.
â@@dozerboyd8784 Pretty sure the first was in 2008
@@dozerboyd8784the first Duramax came out in 2001 with the Lb7.
@@connor4961 I know that. I was asking about Cummins Killer
I'm a powerstroke owner, a fan of Cummins and think this D-max is f*cking awesome. đđșđžđșđžđșđž
Looks like heâs running a Bosch in-line fuel pump , just like we had built 30 plus years ago by a Tractor pull guy in Wisconsin for a Caterpillar 3408 custom build engine my coworker Bob Morin & I built for an local Heavy Hauler here in San Diego. The Cat had twin compound turbo system , fire rings cut into deck surface to seal heads to cylinders , made 120-135 psi of boost and on our chassis Dyno at Hawthorne Caterpillar we recorded over 2500 hp and north of 4,500 lb-ft of torque with highest flow custom injectors that Were special made for it ( out of 3 custom sets made ) We put a few â Junk Cat engines around the sides of it while running in our Dyno cell to â Absorb the Debris â if it puked its guts and not send shrapnel flying out through our cinder-block walls of the building ( the roof was on its own though đ) and thankfully it all held together somehow. We had A.R.P. Make All the bolts and fasteners for that engine ( custom specs) and had piston tops ceramic coated and skirts Teflon impregnated to deal with The high Brake-Mean -Effective pressures in cylinders . We tried a lot of timing changes as I recall to get things â Just right â as per some pretty high-up Cat engineers we were working with from Peoria at that time . Once that engine was proven on our Dyno , it was torn down ( external parts only ) and had many , many hours of polishing and chrome added to it to make it truly a show piece . The owner ( â Bill Signsâ) of Trucking company with same name said No limit on expenses on that truck & it was outfitted with Custom 10â diameter Hexagonal stacks, and the truck was named â Poppa -Clydeâ as all of Billâs trucks had Clydesdale horses painted on backs of Cabs of each Peterbilt . When we finally ran the Completed truck on Chassis Dyno it rattled the walls of our tin building so Bitchen that it brought cheers from all of us who were involved . They couldnât meet California Emissions standards unfortunately years ago and that truck I believe was sold out of state to someone, and to this day I still wonder if it still existsâŠđ€. Sorry to ramble on here , but I totally get what this guy in your video has gone through so far to get to this level of refinement and build up here. Kudos to him & his crew , and wishing him all the Best of luck đ€đđ. C-Ya Josh . & looking forward to updates on the â Wifemaxâ build .
It has a Wimer 17mm p pump

Seen it run in person⊠sounds absolutely nuts
I saw that truck a Scheid this year I love this thing
Nothing beats a Cummins
To that guy congrats to him on the power he is making
Donât take this wrong lol. But the excitement in yours voice was leaning towards a chubby lol đ đbut always awesome video
Wow!!!! Wow!!!! Insane power. Go Cummins Killer!!! Great job guys. I still like Wife Max ,, I love the channel ..
Im a cummins man through an through but also like seeing the hp
Luv it man . Show more..
Bad ass truck from a Cummins fan.
ive seen that truck pulling multiple times beautiful truck
What lift does the shorty max have or do you have a video where you show that? Also wheel and tire combo/size
It's duramax time. We own 6 of them and love them.
Great chassis builder along with Steve barker chassis
Iâd love to see the drive chain build. Gotta be out of this world.
Super Stock trucks use a drop box with reverser setup
I love this rig!
Awesome video!!
Thanks đ
All I can say is damn lol. That thing is awesome! Love it. Give them Cummins guys hell đ
I'm a Duramax guy this is great
Dude Iâm trying to get a Truck Master sticker for my dirtymax but theyâre always out of stock!! Any plans on new inventory?? Love the channel brother đșđž đ€đœ
i saw this truck in milwakee a few weeks ago, shit was cool as hell
This guy was beat at Wagler Motorsports park by a Cummins swapped Silverado just last yearâŠ.
Tanks fir tha video brother its super cool star 2 yen i mi favor truck Duramax its super cool brother
Now I'm listening to it again
1:50 we're talking about cummins having to make up for two cylinders less of displacement, so of course they're gonna be much larger
It doesn't have 2 cylinders less of displacement. Cummins is a 6.7L. Duramax is a 6.6L. They displace about the same
Thats Awesome..
Funny thing, i have a LMM with a personalized license plate , truck is named "KUMS KLR" , with a fleece 72mm cheetah
Awesome video
Thanks for your great videos. You should use external mic, there is way too much background noise.
Randy Overton's Evil Diesel has a similar set up to this
What a unit đ€Żđ«ą
Hi , how much you take for repairing 6.7 diesel ram 3500 2019 ?, engine stuck
That engine is beautiful
Lots of Boost, Lots and Lots of Boost Yeah!đ
If they would of put in inline 6 diesel in the GM hd, I would buy one. I have no use for V8 diesels.
I am not a new GM fan and I really don't like the body style of the new GM trucks but that 1 is the freaking coolest thing out there it sounds so good when it is idling with that wamp wamp I listen to it on my stereo and it sounds like I am right there next to it that thing is a work of art and it is cool
13:04 it's dripping fire
Well we will see once it get a few pulls under it belt if it's going to stay to gather. That is a lot of hp for a duramax. It's going to take alot of money to keep in going down the track. The wife max is looking great.
Thanks Scott
This truck has ran this set up for at least a year. He wonât a couple events toward the end of last year.
I love this truck
I saw a cummins clean his clock at a pull this summer!!
And??? Can't win them all
Bring the Duramax to 5547hp!!!
I got sold on Duramax watching gale bank push an L5P stock bottom up to 2000 HP and it stayed in 1 peace
Listen to the tires at the end
How much does this engine actually share with a production Duramax engine? Can you swap even one part? Maybe the head gaskets and the starter would physically fit?
Rotating assembly can all be used in a factory block.
@@robo1210 interesting to know. Thank you. Are you positive about that? Is there any difference in journal size or clearance issues? I'm simply asking, I genuinely don't know.
@@grubb910 for 460 cubes I do believe a factory block has to be clearanced some. And Iâm sure itâs using narrow journal rods/crank as thatâs common for big hp duramax builds anyway
It's a nice truck you guys sometime look up Van hasley with the rock-hard ram look at his pulling truck it is a Dodge
That engine is crazy clean.
In person itâs really clean
that's just insane, but with the Wifemax you have to make Earl proof bc we all know Earl broke it last time, we don't want Earl breaking it again, Right Melanie lol.
Oh hell yeah
There is a 4000 hp Cummins on its way and it is the wildest engine Iâve ever seen with blower and two turbos and they say it dump at4600 hp but to make it live they keep it at 4000 hp all tube frame sled puller !
Will be interesting to see how it does. These trucks don't run out of power as it is. Even at the end of the run, they're still spinning. It's traction. At some point more HP isn't going to help unless they add more weight to the trucks.
The hardest thing to do is keep the truck hooked to the ground and most of the time you will blow the track away .
As a cummins fan (not owner) i'm crying rn
Will it actually win at bg this year
That's just crazy what there getting out of these trucks
I could only imagine how much money it cost to build this thing
Ya that must be pretty pricey, I found out what that howling noise on my new 2023 duramax was ,at the factory they pocked a small hole in the up pipe when it was cold it would just scream then when it warmed up good it would kind of seal itself but it's getting fixed so I'm happy
It rips
Does anybody know the actual engine displacement on the Cummins killer?
Turbos were 4.1" in 2020. Not sure if they have gone bigger with them now or not.
Pretty sure it's has 1 4.1in turbo and 2 4.5in turbos
Awesome
I love when someone calls an engine a motor. It ainât a Tesla buddy.
Just to sit in it at idle must be thrilling.
So im a little lost he said 3k hp and 4k torque but then later said 44k torque which is it and how would it be making 44k torque and only 3k hp
It will be a short lived victory, it will explode
Why it got to be a cummins killer...can we all just be friends...
đđđ
Need Cummins Killer Hats đ€ đ€ đ€
Cool, one duramax that can compete with the numerous 3000+ hp cummins on a consistent basis. Not to mention for much less money. Amazing truck and very beautiful, but I'll keep my cummins when it comes to high hp builds and reliably doing so.
Not sure it's really cheaper to do this with a Cummins. They are all expensive in this class. There's a couple Duramax powered trucks on this class. Even a couple Fords. This will only make the class better. All 3 brands will have to find more power
I do follow that truck it a killer
Have you heard this truck idle??? It LOPES
Im a duramax guy all the way! But we all know a cummings is the top dog đą. I hate to admit it though.
killer 1923, this is the one that takes cummins down lol
I need the details of the engine. I gotta build one lol. What year duramax block is it?
Have to call Wagler Performance and get their Dx460 Duramax
đź jeeeez
Six in a row youâre ready to tow. 8 in the v he probably sit down to peeđđ. That is one wild looking rig gorgeous craftsmanship
Nice đđđ
Lmao. Letâs leave all the squatters on the left side of the isle đ. Chevy dodge Ford whatever youâre flavor. This is man shit đ
â@Kirk Gordon just happy it's not battery powered!!!!!!!
