I didn't understand the sexual undertones of this scene until I watched it again as an adult and was whoa... THAT is disturbing. Even more disturbing because in the comic books, there was an actual romantic relationship between them. So, the movie watered it down. it's why Howard the Duck wasn't made for kids YET so many 80s kids like myself wound up watching them. Ratings in films weren't like they were now.
