Ed Gale Oh it's alot of fun and one of the better Marvel films, comic adpatations and one of the best science fiction films in recent memory. Well written, well acted and funny too with action too. Recommended and i think Howard will be in the sequel.

Wow, I caught myself viewing a VHS tape in which I dubbed Aliens, Top Gun, and Howard the Duck on the same tape! Though i'm not sure what year I dubbed all three. But they were all on Cable TV. I grew up in the 80s and these were the films I loved ( still do ). Howard the Duck is the only film I haven't seen on DVD but I am looking forward to owning it some day :)

Except for Burton's Batman in 1989 Howard the Duck really is the only watchable comic book based film from the 80s. It's a flawed film, but nowhere near as bad as majority of the Batman films,Steel,Catwoman,Elektra, majority Superman movies & countless others.
