I never realised but the main explosion actually pushes and dispurses the cloud of smoke from the missile seperation away when it goes off. Small but great detail, such an amazing in game explosion
shame the explosion was weak the building would of been dust IRL

Too bad it doesn’t do any damage to anybody around
IRL, the outward push would only be momentary as the overpressure is overcome by atmospheric pressure. So you'd see a push out and then a push in. But for such a small weapon, you'd likely only see a condensation cloud move outward and disappear depending on the atmospheric conditions such as humidity and temperature.
It looks pretty cool but the end result is really poor, it was a magnitude cooler if the whole building collapsed or at least made a huge destruction deep into inside like older BF had...
It's the fact that Dice introduced the never-before-seen 'Levolution' that consumers and players loved, to the fact that Dice removed 'Levolution' despite consumers and players seeing it was one of the most distinguishable and coolest aspects of the Battlefield series
levolution is just an animation that plays, it was a way NOT to add what people wanted, which is destructible houses like in bad company 2, instead of all houses being destructible like in that game one building has a special animation and that's it. it's also not new, valve pioneered this technique in half-life episode 2 with their "cinematic physics" (which is also just an animation that plays)
The buildings in 3 and 4 were still fully collapseable, its only the new one where you cant destroy anything at all. @@doltBmB

@@Eltipi82_ nah people see you on compas and blind side you non stop. Fuck that. Not saying I don’t like the idea but not practical when everyone else is using spot assist and compass. I’d only there was populated hardcore servers without no hud to balance it then I’m so down for tactics shooter
@@drdickquesoThis may sound wimpy, but just do solo conquests. You can up the difficulty and set the HUD to whatever you wish. Only down side is the shame of playing in a true bot lobby.

Thanks for the different angles. Lots of small details that VFX. The clouds in the sky near the missile get lit, and after the explosion, the shockwave wind affects grass far away from the site 2:48.

It makes a sound after the explosion that sounds like the whole building is gone, when in reality it's perfectly fine lmao, it feels like a unfinished product.

Hello I am trying this in 2024 and the first dish in the building is not there. Did they get rid of this Easter egg?
that's not an "easter egg"
that's literally what you're supposed to do on that map, it is the OBJECTIVE of SPEARHEAD, hence the NAME OF THE MAP.
in 2042, the campaign is played out IN MULTIPLAYER, meaning if you don't know how to do these things on EACH MAP you aren't playing the game correctly, all maps have a version of levolution like this, it's not an "easter egg" it's literally a part of the game that's supposed to be triggered by completing your objectives.
After having games like The Finals where destruction is plentiful, not having destruction on a mass scale (not just shooting panels off of things, or slight crumbling of walls) is no excuse in 2023 or beyond.

The missile kills you if you come into contact with it. The second fighter jet pilot experienced that firsthand, as did the VTOL aircraft.

@@Blackoutofficial16 Sorry to inform you, but it got removed at the start of season 4. Every easter egg gets removed at the end of each season it is introduced in which really sucks

Wow...I've not read enough positive articles about this game to warrant a purchase, but damned if it doesn't impress on a technical level
It's pretty fun, just started playing it through game pass. Though much like all modern BF games good luck getting a vehicle.
@@Osirus1156 I'm ok with catching rides, but I hear the maps are too large compared to the player base, so there's a lot of time spent looking for skirmishes. Has that been your experience?
@@shadowfoam3491 very rarely you will find yourself redeploying after clearing an entire point and the adjacent areas. They provide a system to call in a vehicle drop but I personally never use it. Other than that, 24/7 shooting action, never a silent moment.

@@shadowfoam3491 gotta mention I got it for something ridiculous like -85% off on some massive offer recently, maybe aim for that. Absolutely a steal for that price. Decent if the discount is lower. I wouldn't buy full price, but that's me - game has fixed most of its launch problems as I understand and it does feel like Battlefield now. Good luck!

BFV V2 is esencially a WW2 cruise missile, also BF3&4 you can call in cruise missiles with commander mode and who knows what other capabilities where available in BF2 or BC2@@ranimdude Keep in mind that you could call in this strikes on any area of the map you wish, as many times as you wanted(meeting certain points requirement)
