I always wondered why all these console manufacturers couldn’t build a 24- analogs channel on a 19” rack mountable format. It is essential to those wanting a small factor format for easy transportation but with enough local I/O on the console. I love Roland M200i. It provided me with 22 analog I/O channels needed. However, the Roland M200i can only offer a sampling rate of MAX 48khz. I have always wanted to have a 96Khz console. I was hoping that some of these manufacturers would come out with the 24 analog local I/O on a 19” rack mountable.
Hello, Tascam. Are there any news regarding the VST3 support, or how could we integrate VST3 plugins inside individual channels/busses/matrixes, or on the effect rack, in the future, after some firmware updates? I think that's a huge deal and what will generously set this console aside from the rest of the market. Thank you!
As a side note, there've been a couple of months until its launch on the market now, and I think it's an underrated great console, despite a couple of shortcomings and quirks. Keep up the good work!

Make a model 12 Sonicview
Will it get automix, or multiband dynamics/dynamic EQ, through future firmware updates? It would really make it the best, as those are the only major missing points.

We recently bought a Sonic View 16. It does not show on logic or protools as a controller and control mapping is not available yet . Any suggestions or similar situation ? Thanks
Thanks for reaching out to us! At present, the Sonicview XP series cannot act as a DAW controller.

I wish Tascam could create an analog 16 track multitrack cassette recorder "rebrand the 688 midistudio" or take the Model 24 and add a cassette tape to it. Study the Akai MG1214 Recorder. Now that's a classic.
