Bastrop, Texas is an original Texas town known to be an all-inclusive destination meaning everyone's invited. Bastrop County ... ground zero for the Darling family since 1834. My father grew up here. Bastrop was where my mother and I lived for the first two years after I was born in 1951, while my father served in Korea. Having spent much time in my life in this city, I am home again, since Sept. 2022.
