There are two new helmets and one new set of armor. One of the new helmets is called the "Tac-Kek", and it's a class 1 armor. It's basically an airsoft Fast MT. The other new helmet is another generic Class 4 helmet but it can use class 6 armor plating on the top of it. The new armor is a class 5 with 70 durability, made of steel.
Didn't see you do it in this video and I know it sounds obvious but did you manually check the box for the new audio and restart your game? I think the new audio has been working great as far as sound location I was surprised to see you having issues with it

I just bought the toz instead of finding them in raid they are cheap enough and the mp5 trade is good until you get your traders over level 1 in my opinion anything you can put in triple pew mode is worth it especially for trash knives.

I can't count how many times I've been playing ring around the rosy around a shipping container with an enemy PMC and I can't tell if he's approaching from the right toward the front or coming from the left toward the back. Or I'll hear a guy ten feet away around the corner but I'm not sure if he's actually in the same hallway or three stories up. Almost every time I try to react or ambush based on sound I end up facing the wrong direction and getting shot in the back.

But in Tarkov I will end up facing forward when the enemy is coming from behind, facing right when they're coming left more than half the time. I'm gonna give this a try my dude haha. It can't hurt!

Everyone's gear gets erased and they start from the beginning. They usually do it when they change many things about the game at once. This wipe was focused around the flea market, and reselling items to other players.
Customs is easier to get into for me than 0.12 (2 minutes day, 6 minutes night instead of 30+ across the board), and queue times for other maps are fast as well. I’ve gotten stuck on matching for scav runs for just over a day now though
It’s a wipe so everyone’s progress is reset (examined items and weapon presets are saved though) - steam audio is in (turned off by default btw) - prone leaning is in - huge flea market changes, basically anything put up on the flea market has to be either found in raid or looted from a player, and it’s locked until you’re level 10 - speaking of found in raid the only way to have an item you found in a raid to have the found in raid check is to survive the raid, even if you gamma it and die it won’t be found in raid - also speaking of surviving in order to get a survived status instead of runthrough you now have to either be in the raid for at least 10 minutes or get 600 xp which actually makes it much easier to not get a runthrough. The criteria seem to be different for player scavs, I’ve spawned in with a good item on a scav run and booked it straight to extract and didn’t get a runthrough despite not looting or killing and being in for 5 minutes - lots of quest tweaks, you have to find less items but they have to be in raid, and you don’t have to kill as many PMCs and scavs for quests TL;DR better audio, prone leaning, when you’re a PMC and find quest items or items you want to sell on flea act like you’re on a scav run and you’re broke, Jaeger isn’t a little bitch anymore and mechanic only needs 1 billion packs of cigarettes instead of 2 billion
I like the new audio system... I think it's way better for tracking people down from a good distance then it can get a little wonky when people get within 10 feet of you .. but way more accurate when tracking people from gun shots and foot steps...overall a step forward I would say which is a good thing

The last time they did this was right after they locked Labs and everybody was whining and bitching for a wipe 3 months later, which is why we got the wipe again for .12... So HOPEFULLY we get a .13 wipe again because this won't keep us entertained for long
You do realize the whole point of the wipe was to test out how the new flea market would work with the new found in raid system for selling. How would they test it if everyone already has 10000000 billion $$$$$ ?

Is the MP5 trade looked down upon? I personally kinda like collecting knives and swapping them for an MP5 after a little while. It's a nice 0-recoil gun, for hardly any effort. It's not meta, but that doesn't mean it's bad.
