Originally dropping in 1996 and worn by Scottie Pippen during the Summer Olympics in Atlanta, these recently made its return to stores in time for the (postponed) Olympic Games in 2020. Excellent review! I remember having the all black version of this shoe for away games and the all white version for home games during basketball season in high school. The all white version of this shoe seemed to weigh less and was made with leather or synthetic leather and the all black was suede. The all black suede felt extremely bulky and not as comfortable similar to what you described in this video.

Personally I prefer the Reebok Preacher Ice worn by Shaq at 0:40. I had a pair back in highschool and they were so dope. Ugly yes, but dope. I would double up on those if they ever do a retro on them.

I'd get them for $175, but the pair I'm looking at - as of 2021 are $335 ... I don't think I'm going to be spending that much for clunkish bricks! lol

Overall I really like the silhouette itself and the colorway. But two things keep me from adding a pair to my collection: I think it's a bit too bulky compared to the jeans I wear and I just really don't like the exposed air units.

I still got one which the color is reversed ⚪⚫ with PIPPEN LOGO on the heel, I think that's really the signature shoe for PIPPEN👍🏻
