    • @kurtfrancis4621
      @kurtfrancis4621 Před 6 lety +1

      You may divide 65m by 0.3048 m/ft, which will give you the decimal equivalent. However, the IAAF tables are not based on a pure conversion, but on a mathematical formula as to what is "most likely". While close to theoretical, it is not exact. You must buy the IAAF tables to get what the conversion would be under international rules.

      If you are referring the one that they showed the close-up on the ring, yes, she DID foul. Clearly her right foot touched the top EDGE of the ring, which is a foul under any rules. You may touch the inside surface of the ring, but not the top edge, which is considered a foul just as much as touching the surface out of the ring.

      barath4545 Only one of her throws wasn't a foul... It doesn't matter if she made a small mistake here and there because pro athletes train so they don't make small mistakes like these on a global stage.

    • @karlopuskadija4121
      @karlopuskadija4121 Před 8 lety +26

      because she put 100% in every attempt, and when you do that you lose some in precision, she was going for 70 + throw, and wanted to throw near the olympic record. And yes she was a bit lucky for not missing third attempt. :D

      TheZombKing ..... When the star player on a football team kicks the ball into the goalpost twice, and the goalie stops his shot the third time, should he be disqualified? He is a PRO athlete who shouldn't make such "mistakes." And if he kicks the winning goal after those "mistakes" is that also a fluke?

    • @oubaas99
      @oubaas99 Před 8 lety +19

      there are 6 throws ...and the winner is longest ....and not the best average ....furthermore she was miles ahead the other competitors
