Not for regionals. Only the Tour has the dress code for PBA events
During Summer months, Regional directors give the ok on dress shorts.
Was on the south region circuit for many years, must be a recent change. Progress is a good thing, just get some prize funds built up.

Congrats Kyle! Your timing looked great and your head stayed perfectly still/straight throughout your approach - despite how you had to play the lanes (up the back and fade) your swing was nice and loose - you looked relaxed man….great job!!

i started bowling 3 finger a few months ago and i keep getting blisters. any suggestion to prevent that. i do wear tape sometimes
@1:13 ... this is exactly how I bowl all day. Something always just off a bit. I see you are still bowling like a star. All the balls. Nothing matters or changes that one little thing that's off. Well, I've got my first tournament coming up in October. It's the 45th USBC Seniors Open. I have a chance to win my first championship. It's sad though that I'm stuck practicing on lanes with no oil whatsoever. Sahara desert on all sides and a broken oil patch in the middle. What a world!!!! I'll get a Pyramid Pathogen Plague meant for dry, then get the same for the tournament and use only that one ball. Will that work?? I don't wipe oil from my balls. Is that a bad thing>?

I don’t wanna be that guy but throwing urethane can’t always be the lefty’s option. I’m not blaming them cuz you do what you need to do to score but they’ve gotta figure something out with these oil patterns.
You know the sport is dying when they pay you only $2500.

Pba should definitely qualify a percentage of right v left players, and the longer the block, the more important that is
There just too much discrepancy in today’s game. Too often left side is either a lock or shut out and it’s night right
It doesn’t happen in golf or hoop or any other sport where the hand you use impacts the results

It’s part of the game. The only way I see to make it a more even playing field between left and right would be to give each player their own lane.
Of course then everyone would whine about the topography and what lane poring they had…

Depends...if the tournament director has a stick up his arse that week, then nobody's wearing shorts. If not, comfy bowling...🤣👍
Some regions have different rules
In the summer, shorts are allowed.
