I searched the internet for this for ages, so happy to see it here thank you brought back lots of nice memories of watching this with my mum in black and white and the song stuck in my head for 54 years 💕💕💕🙏🏻
My mom used to sing that song in its Portuguese version, which has stuck at the back of my mind for life. I've seen an interview with Leslie few days ago where she describes the beginning of her career. Yeah the song is as adorable as sweet and sad at the same time as I think of the old times my mum use to sing it at home.

Having just watched this movie the other day for the first time, the puppet "Hi Lili, Hi Lo" song scene from this movie is now one of my favorite cinematic examples of purely humble, endearingly charming, and simplistically sweet joy. And because of this, I thank you Nelson for having uploaded this video 👍🏻

George Noory on Coast to Coast AM started to play this on his show tonight and just before the song broke into the "Hi Lili, Hi Lili, Hi Lo, Hi Lo" lyrics I turned off the radio because the vibe wasn't right but then something hit me and I turned on the radio and "Hi Lili, Hi Lili, Hi Lo, Hi Lo" was in full bloom and brought back a flood of fond memories. I remember seeing this movie "Lili" starring the beautiful Leslie Caron as a kid with my family in two parts on a short lived TV series called "Off To See The Wizard" back in 1967-1968 season. Also remember Kurt Kasznar in this film (soon to be co-star of "Land Of The Giants"). Thanks for the memories George and thank you for posting Nelson.
