Very clever to have all the section players take turns with the solo sections!
So it's not just me. 4am, my pillow is soaked with tears, and for some reason unknown...I couldn't feel better.
Great performance. Congratulations to the Orchestra. 😘🥰👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This is a contemporary monster, the same race of great composers as Tchaikovski, absolutely incredible. Alberto.
А какие солисты!!!!!!! Один лучше другого!
This music pierces my heart so much that tears flow naturally as if it was predestined and expected, commanding devotion from my soul calling it to perfection and salvation through Love.
Great idea to let each violinist play a part of it! They all play so well and inspired! Bravo!!! It's a joy to listen!
This has got to be one of my top movies. Simply incredible. Watching this video makes me realize how much I watch the movie. Very well done...
Loved that movie, took my grandmother who had not seen a theatre movie in 20 yrs.
Just so profound..........makes "fly" and cry at the same time..........
Wow......feelings goes flows... as the movie goes thru my mind.....Anna, Ceska, Kaspar, Gitanes dancing, Mr. Pope and than, tears full eyes.....
I can visualize the movie scene after scene.
Crying is all I can do as I feel this music truly astounding deeply moving.
Maybe the best compliment that I can give the chamber orchestra is that I keep playing this repeatedly--probably to the annoyance of my wife, who hears this wonderful music over and over again while I'm here in the office, writing. Grazie! On a more casual note, as the young folk say, "Damn, baby boy! I half expected you to saw that violin in half!" (Watch that master at 6:00.) The gypsy/Roma passage at 21:33 is equally captivating.
Thanks, Doctor Koloze, for your nice words. Tomorrow, February 16, John Corigliano is turning 80. He does not like to be congratulated with jubilees, though... Still, we all wish him to continue his wonderful journey to the delight and enrichment of all of us, his ardent fans!
I feel out of this world and would love to see this live
This song will change your life
I agree with all have said...it's simply amazing! Terrific!
You just can't hold the tears.
Bravo!👏👏
Loved this, loved the movie but you can tell the soloist for the Gygpsy piece is heavily trained in classical.
PARFAIT MONSIEUR Misha Rachlevsky !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FELICITATIONS .
Loved the film and the music... and this orchestra is wonderful.
Bravi to the all players! Wonderful
Оленька, привет! И Джону!
This is an amazing performance. I just can't turn away, not for a second!!
From the minute 16:12 to the minute 17:57 ¡¡I LOVE THIS PART!! Its my favorite movement....
Magnificent music from magnificent movie. An extraordinary masterpiece.
I always cry. Always. So beautiful.
Wow! I know these guys (and girls). Fantastic. Thanks Misha...
La misma raza de gigantes y genios.Corigliano es un portento de creatividad. Alberto Valdivia Portugal
Beautiful, amazing! Thanks for posted it. 😘🥰😍
this is amazing, amazing performance! i love this score!
These are really extraterrestrials from some advanced planet with supernatural abilities, but disguised as human beings, playing various stringed instruments.
Every time I try to tell someone about this wonderful piece and performance, I start to choke up and am near to tears. I guess you could say I am deeply moved by it. Is this available on disc?
I have to comment again! The more I listen to this the more I am swept away. The nuances in phrasing and subtle lead-ins to extremely emotional passages are really breathtaking. Aside from being occassionally off-put by the footfall of departing players, I really can't get enough of this performance! I feel like buying a great bottle of burgundy and having regular dates with it! Congratulations to all!
My souls touched and thanks for your talent
A great performance.Very dramatic and I am sure quite engaging for the audience.
Magnifique!
Thank you for posting this! Good old times!
Insane

Majestuoso
Amazing....
Impresionado por tan magnífica interpretación.
Please ignore my comment about "who wrote this" it was in the title, Corigliano, this is spectacular!!!!
Superb
Красота! Мне немного напоминает мелодия основная мелодию из "Мемуары гейши"
This is freaking amazing, thank you, I wonder who wrote this for the movie, off to google.
When can they turn their music sheet? They keep on playing.
Amé la pelicula, amé la OST, y ahora amo este concierto... la interpretación tenia que ser hecha por camaradas soviéticos para ser perfecta.
good
Outstanding!
Does anyone know WHERE can I find sheet music for this? Can’t find it anywhete
Better then drugs
!!!!!
maybe do just a video for 14.5 to 18 the good stuff..because the rest, without them images is like looking at paint dry..deja vu..
Amazing performance, congratulation!
pues...
Really? Mono audio?
No.....
too many notes..was looking for the dramatic anthem, the one like Verdi Fueco Del Destino, not the Soapy Songs, just Melodrama mixed with a Dose of Lucidity
