Spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD)

46 yrs old female with typical mixed pattern angina for 1 week. Presented with ACS. Trop I 229. T wave inversion in Lead 1 & aVL. No past medical history and no risk factors for IHD.

Spontaneous dissection coronary need Treatment or not and dissection in proximally segment LAD?

Depends on extent of dissection. Conservative management is recommended. DAPT, heparin for 48hrs, beta blocker.

@@abdulraufsheikh7470 isnt heparin contraindicated? stentin only if u are sure to cover whole disection, if oclusive can use cutting baloons
