I enjoyed this marriage of convenience romance. Longtime enemies from childhood work for best interests of a couple children. I liked how dedicated this book was to Becky. I always appreciate the emphasis on choice over feeling and on following God’s prompting. He sacrificed everything for us, what are we sacrificing for Him?

Jessie really can make a marriage of convenience into a plausible love story. Jay always does a great job bringing it to life. The old ladies were a hoot. The community is supporting and loving. Can’t wait to see what happens to the rest of the people in Strawberry Sands.
I loved Kristen and Luke’s story: a marriage of convenience when the couple is actually in love… but they don’t know it (and that is even better)! It was a great read! And I was glad to know more of Becky’s story as well. I can’t wait for the next one to know what her friend will do about his father’s situation. I recommend the book and the whole series! I already left a comment but the following is my review of the book. I loved this enemies to lovers romance between Kristen and Luke in Strawberry Sands. Luke tried to avoid Kristen because her grandmother kept trying to get them together. When Luke found out that Becky, an orphan, wanted Luke and Kristen to be the parents for her and her sister, Rita, who is in a foster home that only wants her for the money they receive, he and Kristen decide to get married. I highly recommend this heartwarming clean Christian romance with lovable characters. I received an ARC and this is my voluntary and honest review. I listened to the audiobook besides reading the ebook which enhances the experience.
This is such a fabulous story, and Jay you are so amazing, I think that there are more than a dozen voices you do and as a listener I can tell who it talking as each voice is so individual. Jessie has written a story with so many wonderful messages and characters, I just loved this story!

This is a great story made better by the narrator. His narration brings the story to life I really love this series. It’s a very heart touching story. You could read it as a stand alone but you should read the whole series. The author does a great job keeping the story alive. Luke and Kristen have been at odds since they were teenagers. Kristen’s grandmother keeps trying to set her up with Luke.
This was a great story! I love how real it got with the girls - that taking them on wasn't going to just be a walk in the park. Jay, you did an awesome job of all the different voices. Thanks for keeping me entertained today. 😊

Kristin and Luke have avoided each other and basically insulted each other since “the lake incident” in middle school. Now they must reconcile their differences in order to help two girls. The characters are wonderful and the interactions are believable. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I received a free copy of this book and this is my voluntary, honest review.
I always enjoy your channel since you are dedicated to reading Jessie's books and every time a new one comes out I think it is my favorite then another favorite comes out. Your variety of voices for all the characters makes the audiobooks more enjoyable also. Thanks for using your talents, both you and Jessie.

Loved the story but am a bit confused...the narration doesn't match the blurb above. The story takes place in the summer, not at Christmas time.
