- This is a step by step video tutorial on how to replace and diagnose your 2012-2019 Nissan Versa 4 Cylinder vehicle. The symptoms of a bad ignition coil include but not limited to: check engine light, loss of power, misfiring, poor fuel economy, hard starts, stalling, sputtering, coughing sounds, jerking and vibrating. I bought my ignition coil from Autozone and it’s still running great it is a Duralast part# C50004DL. If this video helped you please subscribe!

I got a question I have a 2017 Nissan versa SV I’m trying to hook a push start button along with button panel along with it one of those racing ones. I’m trying to hook that up and it says to hook it up to the ignition coil, which is why I’m watching this video do you know anytips on how to really splice into one of the coils or can you help me out?
Hey thanks for watching. Honestly I’ve never done anything like that yet. My guess would be to splice it into the actual connector a few inches behind it but make sure you know which wire to splice.
Nissan really decided to make this a royal pain in the ass
@@caleba.6812 hey thanks for watching. Yea they definitely wanted to make you work to get to the ignition coils. Hope my video helped and hope you’ll sub to the channel.
I just did this same job on my 2016 versa.. now i have a code popping up for the intake valve control and it wont start... Is it possible I just switched one of the hoses?
Hey thanks for watching. If your vehicle was running perfectly fine before the repair then it is definitely something that got mismatched. Hope this helps!
Good work but you can't really see what you're doing video caption is kind of blurry 😬
Hey thanks for watching! Do you mean the thumbnail or actual video?
Which order is the cylinder fire is it 1-2-3-4 left to right when standing in front of engine like on your video?
@@arose636 Firing order is 1-3-4-2
I had the same code cylinder three I changed all the spark plugs and the cylinder three coil ran it for a day now the same code came back on cylinder three any idea what it could be?
@@arose636 the firing order is 1-3-4-2 are you sure you changed the right coil?
What cause the coil to keep going bad every 10 to 30 min
Hey thanks for watching and it could be a number of things like heat, vibration, bad spark plug gaps etc.
How to determine what cylinder missfired?
Hey thanks for watching. You can take it to get the check engine light scanned to find out which cylinder is misfiring. You can also disconnect the ignition coils one by one and whichever doesn’t stumble when you disconnect it indicates a bad ignition coil. Hope this helps and I hope you’ll sub to the channel.
