Hey you can most likely take your boom arm to a welders or body mechanic etc and ask them to weld some of the allen key to the allen key slot and then you can melt some plastic cable ties over it and make a turning screw.
Haha true - vtgat sounds way too techy for me though, I'll stick with the Allen key for now lol

I ended up buying one too, didn't need anything crazy - waiting for it to arrive. Seems pretty clunky but I wonder how adjustable it is. I do wish it had better support with the bench/desk - would make a huge difference
