GG bro! We have quickly gone from Tarky .14.0 to .14.8 i think, and from SPT 3.8.0 to 3.8.6 now... sheesh! So There are a very few interesting changes to base game. But more importantly, to use fresh new mods for higher than 3.8.0 Ima have to update after all. You've shown us how. Thank you bro.
Probably a good idea to get some kind of external backup hard drive to copy & backup the entire Tarkov and SPT folders onto, so we have those in case BSG does something extreme. we can keep trying to escape SPTarkov despite that.
I really didn't think there will be super fast and consistant update like this too! I guess SPT is gaining rapid player base!
@@SimpleSlime yeah I hope they realized they have an opportunity, with Nikita stepping on his dink, to capture a whole massive wave of people escaping Tarkov servers and coming to SPT. Seems to be what’s happening.

You "should" still update the mods too because they should also have their new versions. But you don't have to. The 3.8 mods will run just fine with the SPT 3.8.1

Is there an easy way to update mods or do I need to download every mods again when they get updated ? (Sorry for my spelling english isnt my first language)
It's safer to download every mods when they have an update. They might work, but if it doesn't work, you might have to go through and troubleshoot one by one.
Once I get the new version installed can I just delete the old SPT folder. How about a guide to properly remove a MOD.
Thats a good idea, but removing a mod, you just have to delete the mod folder you want to remove. Check under user\mods folder or BepInEx\plugins folder
I'm trying follow this guide when updating to 3.8.3 but when i run the installer in my new folder it say no patcher available for this version what does that mean?
You might have to wait couple days for the new one to come out. Does it work now?
can i delete official tarkov after installing spt i don't plan on playin in official server and it takes a lot of space in my ssd
Unfortunately, you need to keep the official tarkov installed!

How come when I get out of a scav raid it say out of memory it happens all the time now but when I first installed spt it never had any issues?
I never heard of that issue or seen anyone who ran into such problem. What mods are you using?
Is this process the same as that of SIT manager?
It's just that I have the SIT manager and I can't play coop with my friend.
We don't know how to enter the same server.

@@SimpleSlime We have installed SIT manager, the AKI server, opened the ports... We haven't installed any mods yet.

Yes! Your "profile" is pretty much the save file.
Does this work updating from 3.7.6? Its been awhile for me haha
With the Tarkov having constistant updates, I do feel like the SPT will keep having updates as well!

It tells me my profile Is using a different version of Aki and may have problems and when I go to load up the profile it just does not load into the game any clue how to fix that.
Which profile saves are you trying to transfer to which SPT version?
