Hey Chris…The Exhibit cards are growing on me as well. I’m the “old guy” in the neighborhood who shares his card collection with the young kids in my neighborhood. Interestingly, I find that most of their questions and attention are focused on the vintage players as well as the artistic rendering and vibrant colors of those cards. I agree that collecting vintage will not die among younger players as the history of baseball is so rich in America and so long as the game’s popularity continues so will collecting vintage cards. I agree, the hobby is going strong. I’ve been helping a coworker buy vintage cards for his 12 year old son’s bday after he recently began showing interest in the all time greats
Excellent video, sir! As a fellow educator, it seems a great deal of folks in the card community are in education. I agree that vintage cards will always be a place collectors grow to with knowledge and budget growth.
