Great story Chris. When I was a kid I got a book called Strange but True Baseball Stories and the Dizzy Dean/ St. Louis Browns story is in it. I still have the book. Great card too! Keep up the good work.
Great story about dizzy, I will add a little to that story after his broadcasting days were over he settled down with his wife in Bond, Mississippi just north of Wiggins where he is now interened in the bond cemetery. His home which was called Deanash for his first name and her maiden last name is now a foster home who she willed to the National Baptist convention…..

Love these kinds of videos! Collecting players with cool cards is my style. Knowing the stories and history of the players makes collecting so much more enjoyable. Thank you, sir.

Great story and card Chris!
I remember reading about Dizzy Dean and how he ruined his arm trying to come back from that toe injury too soon!
Great story Chris. I had never heard that before very funny. Your Cardinal dislike is showing though by wanting to kick him out of the HOF!😂
Gave a video like as always - Enjoyed you taking the time to share that story, Chris. Hope you are having a great week.
I love your European truck. Right side driver.
Hi Chris. I don’t comment often but just wanted to tell you this was a fabulous video.
I agree with your thoughts Chris; if he’s in Gooden needs to be in too.

Fun story about Ol' Diz
Great background and card of Dizzy! I didn't know about his post-playing days career.
Hi Chris. I enjoyed that story about Dizzy Dean. He was the last NL pitcher to win 30 games as you said. Thanks for the video.
