I bet everyone hates that Good Morning Lady. Really cool how you hike right up the trestle. That one woman going down wasn't happy! 😆
There were at least three other people who passed me four times while I was going up. The parking fills up at 6:30 AM, because these people are doing their morning working out. No gym can provide these excellent views.
So many doggies ☺️ also laughing at how chipper the “good morning” lady was. Love you!

This looks like such a difficult hike! But also one that would be a must do because it is so unique. Looks like you made a great decision by be there when the gates open. I bet it gets crowded by the late morning/middle of the day. Fantastic views from the top.
I was trying to get this one in early so it didn't interfere with our plans for the rest of the day. I'm so glad I did it. I know from watching your channel, that you would have enjoyed the history as well.

This is on our list and I was aware but actually havent watched any videos on it. Wow what a work out. We will habe to train more to get ready for this one and be comfy. Wow such a beautiful view so glad you shared this. We are thinking of going between February and April! Going down had to be much easier! Cant wait to see the rest!! This was wonderful and such a great coincide it is the only Hawaiian island we havent been to we were saving it for last and we loved Maui so much we had to go back several times. Excited to see more!
When we visited we stayed with my daughter in Kailua. She works in Honolulu. She took leave for our trips to the big Island and Maui, but we took her to work and then used her car to explore while she was at work. This meant we mostly got to see things in the Honolulu area. The good news is that there is plenty to do in that area. I would have done a few more hikes but my wife isn’t really into hiking. Hopefully i’ll get my videos from Oahu done before you go.

Wow - there is something about stairs that seem so much more challenging than just an incline trail. I bet this would be quite the challenge - although I got a good laugh out of the pup hopping up like it was nothing lol
I was surprised that so many people brought their dogs on this hike. I hope the carried extra water for them.
