- 005 - Our First Pow Wow
My family and I attended our first ever Pow Wow at the Red Deer Exhibition Hall in the Westerner Grounds. This event was the first Annual Red Deer International Pow Wow. We learned a lot about the Indigenous people and the inner workings of a gathering such as this. We are grateful to everyone involved in making this happen and putting such an amazing event!

Thank You. We make it a part to get to every International Gathering we can!
You did an excellent job explaining our culture. I love seeing others fet to experience my culture. Thank you so much for sharing and helping to spread knowledge. Chi-Miigwetch!
P.s. Our people tend to notice our babies actually being soothed by the drum and actually falling alseep while at pow wows. Hopefully your daughter enjoyed it ❤ You have a beautiful family.
This video was only the first gathering we had been to, but we have been back every year since! My daughter quite enjoys the roll call now lol. We have an event in the Philippines that honours the Indigenous people there as well, with drumming and cultural traditions. Chi-Miigwetch! Thank you so much for watching!
Your baby has a really cute smile!
Thanks Sharlene! She's our little embutido!
Pretty cool experience. Your baby so cute!!
Thanks brotha! It was a cool experience. We quite enjoyed it. Reminded Nash and I of our experience in her province of the Philippines where they celebrate this cultural religious ceremony called AtiAtiHan. Full of dancing and parades. Awesome time.
