I am always saying WE GOT THIS in real life and online. We all have our own struggles and I believe we can get through anything together. When I was diagnosed with cancer in September, I thought this was my own struggle but I realised my cancer has affected everyone around me. I am a daughter, a girlfriend, a sister, a friend, a cousin, a grand daughter & more. I know my journey has affected everyone around me and I know now more than ever that I have no choice but to get better. Whatever life throws at us, we are going to get through it together. You are so inspiring. Anxiety at the pool is the same no matter if a person is overweight, underweight, has scars or some type of disability. Everyone has something that they are insecure about. You are brave conquering your fears and concerns. You are showing and proving to everyone that you can do it. Nobody is paying any attention to us. And if they are then they are shallow idiots. Enjoy your time, you guys look so so happy. You are so strong.

I recall a clip came up not long after your op and it was a young mum with her kids. At the pools rocking her stoma bag for all to see. And when you do that one day you'll be showing every lady who comes along after you in this journey that theres life with a stoma bag.
I thought it was great and I wish everyone would just rock whatever they have. Prostetic limbs, scars, you name it. Its what makes us human, connected to this earth.

Sooo glad you are back to your old self "with a few changes" ! It's normal to be afraid of the unknown. The longer you have your stoma the more it will become second nature. There will come a time that you will change your bag without consciously getting supplies ready. You will find yourself finished and realizing you didn't even do a step by step process. You just did it ! I don't know if you told us about this but you can get covers to put over your bag. They come in all different colors and designs and it is a fashion statement of sorts in case your clothes don't cover your bag completely. It will give you more freedom because the worry will be gone. Your holiday location was stunning. Thanks for taking us along.

I can’t tell you how happy this vlog made me you look so happy & healthy it also gave me hope, you came into my vlog feed as you’d been diagnosed as a retired nurse I found your channel so interesting inspirational how you just took everything & sorted each step to see you now gives me such a happy feeling, I was diagnosed with bowel cancer on Friday after weeks of test & waiting I can’t tell you the worry & upset it caused me but you have given me such hope, I’m having my operations on the 16th May … strange your vlogs came in my feed now I know it was for a reason we got this darling darling Tiffany you’re my inspiration thank you ❤

My friend used to call his stoma “his funny little raspberry” it also saved his life. Honestly people don’t stare at a stoma nowadays. There’s no wires etc. it’s like having a diabetic bottle stopper on the arm, just noticed but ignored. It’s your friend it saved your life.

The funny thing is that while you're sitting there feeling a little self conscious and worried about your stoma bag, I would have been sitting there looking at you and feeling self conscious about how I look in a bathing suit since you look so beautiful. It's funny the thoughts people have about themselves and others, especially when they don't know what that other person might be going through. I'm glad both of you are having a wonderful time! You deserve it!

Good for you taking the vacation and time to relax. Being away from home after a traumatic experience like yours, while trying to figure out how the illiostomy is going to work can be stressful. So even though it’s vaca, you might find yourself feeling like you’re not having as much fun as you think you should, or thought you would. You might just miss being home where daily life is familiar and easier to navigate. I think that’s all normal, and someday your vacations will really feel just like you imagine it should, without worries of experiencing “firsts”.
