If Leslie was to change from Ghostbusters to The Howling - they would've got the $200K. If David was to use the Freebie, it would've remove Mackinaw. If Harrison was to use the Freebie, it would've removed Ford Mustang.
I wonder if any of Leslie’s teammates know that $200K Question. It was so easy that if they knew Ghostbusters only had 1 Sequel around 2000, then they should’ve picked the Harder Answers. It might be all their fault as much as it is Leslie’s fault.
Its a good thing Chuck is laid back with an intense game show like this. Anne Robinson will make you feel like the lowest thing on the planet by calling you pathetic if you lose, especially if it was on the big ones.
@@ramibaghdadi1255 Which is why it’d be likely the Ford Mustang would’ve been removed. They usually remove the Wrong Answer that’d be closest to the Correct Answer.
I'm far from a movie expert (admittedely that's probably my weakest subject when it comes to trivia), but I recall a "Alien 3" and couldn't recall if Ghostbusters has one or 2 sequels. Since Alien was eliminated, and I knew there was at most, a Ghostbusters 3 (infact there was only one sequel at the time), then Ghostbusters had to be a wrong answer.
That ended up not mattering since they eventually lost on the $200,000 question. But I guess Michelle benefitted from it since she got $10,000 for her Terminator challenge.
@@robbyosborne9708Also for those 2 $200,000 Questions, I would have guessed the following 4. Types of Hats 1: Tam-O’-Shanter 2: Porkpie 3: Homburg 4: Rankin Earliest Cars 1: Chevrolet Corvette 2: Original VW Beetle 3: Ford Edsel 4: Cadillac Eldorado
17:30 - NO, it's not Ghostbusters. I'm so sorry because it had only one sequel. We were looking for "The Howling" because it had five sequels and it had more than the Ghostbusters. 38:37 - Nope, it's not Mackinaw. I knew it wasn't. We were looking for Homburg. That was a good try, David. Listen, you did the best you could and you tried your best and you had a great run at it. You were only one question off and one answer off. 58:40 - It's not Ford Mustang. We were looking for Cadillac Eldorado. I'm so sorry, Harrison.
Not sure if this was the phase where Woolery would point out that a wrong answer would have been the freebie - since Chuck didn't mention that Mackinaw was the freebie, I assume that it wasn't. This one was easy for me as a music fan, because I knew that "Homburg" was the follow-up to Procol Harum's "A Whiter Shade of Pale", and that based on the song, Homburg is a hat.
I watched a CZcams clip of Greed the 70's edition where all the contestants were men. The Terminator was rejected twice, and it shows you a difference having 5 contestants lift in the $500,000 question compared to 3 contestants left. The captain could only change one answer.
Well that's interesting, these commercials gives me the chills as an old soul person for 2000 when FOX used to be gold especially Greed. Leslie should've done better.
@@TripSoul10Yeah. I can excuse that one college team whose captain called it quits after $100k only because college kids are typically broke most of the time and probably needed the money and two the other three teams didn't do well at all, two of whom bombed on the $200k question so for them it was understandable but the other two captains that did it deserve a parking lot butt kicking.
55:06 Michelle thought she buzzed in first but I knew David hit it faster than she did plus she gave the correct answer out even though David buzzed in first if my memory serves me correctly but i might be wrong I think that was the second time in the terminator showdown that a contestant gave the right answer even though the other player buzzed in I remember it happened in the premiere episode of greed with Robert and Christopher when Robert buzzed in about the company’s super heavyweight motorcycles are often called hogs which I knew was the was right and Robert buzzed in first and Christopher said the right answer so I think happened twice but not completely sure
I don't think it had anything to do with the terminator question. Sometimes game shows bring contestants back due to "production errors" whatever that means. Maybe that's what brought David back.
@@GAME-SHOW-FAN I don't think so. David lost fair and square on the terminator against Mark Westguard on February 18. Actually in the episode from June 2, Darrel Casalino lost his terminator challenge against Colette Craig on a technicality. The question was "what Nevada city shares its name with a US attorney general?" Colette buzzed in and said "Janet Reno" and they gave her the win. The problem with that is, the question asked for the name of the city, not the name of the attorney general as I'm pretty sure there is no city in Nevada named "Janet Reno" but that state does have a city named "Reno" so she wasn't completely wrong but technically Colette should've lost. I think Darrel should've been brought back in a later show and given another chance but then he probably wasn't since that episode was so close to the end of the run.
9:03 “Romeo Must Die”, one of only 2 movies starring Aaliyah!!

It has to do with the show, not the host.
I can only imagine if Harrison used the Freebie on the $200K Question, would Ford Mustang have been removed as a Wrong Answer?!
Very likely. Having two ford answers seems suspicious.
No Civic would have been removed, doing a quick search, Mustang was introduced in 1964 and the Civic in 1972.

Episode tied for worst payout in an episode with the tournament of losers. $30000
At least none of the teams went out before the $200K Questions.
The episode from April 25 had a final payout of $30,000 but I actually like that episode.

They did have better luck the next time. The following week's episode had its first two teams nailing the $200k question.
Awesome.
Michelle and Harrison weren’t sports people but luckily Harrison saved the team since he knew the answer.

David been on the show before got terminated from the captain's chair, second chance given to him he gets his cars answer wrong
Man why didn't she terminate Michael, he got his answer wrong!! Second time it cost the whole team, never got one right!!!

In the challenges, captains were never challenged. Had one been & team had a new captain, better chance one team gets $200000.
Once they get to $200,000, then it begins to get tricky with the many choice questions. I’d rather share $100,000 with my team if I was the captain.
That’s a Defeated Cowardly Attitude that No One would EVER Respect.
In college greed it’s understandable to give all players $ for college. Any other greet series, not any unless category is uncomfortable to captain.
Well I wouldn't want you as the captain on my team. I'd want to play at least too $200k maybe even $500k depending on the category.
