Kinda makes me sad watching this episode known it was the last one. Wonder if they knew it was gonna be the last episode before the show was over seems like the game play was stretched out like they knew
Yeah same. I could be mistaken but I don't think it was known at the time of taping that this was the last episode. I don't think anyone knew that until it came time to edit and air the episode, except for maybe the network, I guess. At the end there it sounds like they might've edited out Chuck saying the "be sure to join us next Friday" stuff so that you only hear the "Good night, everybody."
There was enough time. I think if Garth chose to advance to $500,000 it would've been in the episode. Hopefully they would've won because I would've hated for the show to end with a losing team. Not the way I would've like the run to end.
Keep in mind, these shows record multiple episodes at a time, so they probably would cut some filler from previous episodes to fit the rest of the game in if they continued.
The qualifying round was suspended for the rest of the show's run beginning with the episode from June 16. LOL There would be no point in playing the qualifier and not airing it out what's the point of playing it to begin with? As confirmed by a few contestants from both Super Greed and this particular format, they used lots, meaning they had contestants draw ping pong balls from a coffee can to determine each contestant's position.

The episode from June 30 had Jill's team picking up at $500,000, the team after going to $500,000, the team after losing on $100,000, and then the last team going to $200,000 and stopping there.
