I think if Nebraska shows up on the field and Dylan looks the part then we will see some flips to the Huskers later in the season regardless of their current commitment status.

I feel like we've made the top 3 or 4 or whatever for countless Elite, top-tier prospects for some time, but just can't seem to close the deal. That's because we genuinely have so much to offer, but at the end of the day, they just can't overlook the state of the program, and they want to go somewhere and win. I feel like as soon as we start turning things around with like 8 or 9 wins, we are gonna see the effects in the recruiting for more elite players.
That being said...I still feel like Sanders is a longshot, but I respect him for including us in there. Praying for a miracle, but I don't wanna get my hopes up...been hurt too many times lol
Gotta feel like he's a Tennessee lean, imo. And I gotta wonder, what in the world is going on in there NIL collective all of a sudden? Lol they are loaded 🤷🏾♂️

Ya I found it very odd we were in his top 4. Because about a month or so ago we weren't even in his top 6. But idk hey maybe we made the move up. Like you said not having Clemson in there does kind of makes me believe it.

Unfortunately it's currently slim odds for any of the 5 stars. That should start to change after this season. I hate to call it any type of "victory" just to be in the running, but in a way it is. We haven't won yet but Rhule is able to at least get on the radar with a lot of top players. Would better NIL put us over the top, along with a few more wins? How many 5 stars even visited when Frost was coaching, much less put us in their final 4 or 5 choices? I don't recall if Frost even made any serious effort to reach for any of the top guys.

@@Jayson-rb5jd That's funny since I am usually one of the more positive people about the program and where it's headed. But I also try not to get my hopes too high thinking we will get the 5 stars who aren't related to one of the best huskers ever. I'm hoping as much as anyone. I also feel like, contrary to what we were told by Frost, that our NIL isn't one of the leaders and one of the best in the country.

Yessir! I made finals at Deca internationals this spring! Ended out my career on top representing the state of Nebraska!

We have a slim chance of getting him but being in the running is special in itself. Pre Ruhle we would never be considered. Dylan wouldn't have come. I'm amazed at what's been accomplished this quickly by current staff. Our 5 star recruiting days will come. It will turn the corner next Year if we have the season we are capable of having. GBR TTB❤
I just don’t understand how Missouri keeps getting all this top recruit I cant remember a time they even made it to the sec championship game or even compete there. Blows my mind reminds me of ole miss in the 2010s era.

They won last year and beat OSU in the bowl game.
They were not in the sec very long. In the big 12, they were usually good but not a championship team. First is good coaching. Most of their talent comes from instate. They have some nfl level players and good nil.
Missouri is a good example of how you build up your team slowly over 4 or 5 years you are around the top 10.
The real mystery is Texas A&M top talent goes there every year without very much success.
Good year and they are willing to shell out decent money.
What would that do to our team recruiting ranking?

Not worried at all ..we are ahead of schedule bringing these types of players for visits.. coaches have been recruiting these kids for sometimes 3 years..these kids don't know Rhule .next year after we go to a bowl Rhule will have spent 2 years talking with these guys and we will go from getting visitors to commits . Just getting Sanders here is a big deal. I think Rhule spends wisely and doesn't throw big money at kids before he knows they can perform ..im with coach .you can upset your guys bringing in a kid full of money and your a proven guy and the recruit is making more than you ..GBR

I didnt buy in to any of the knighton stuff. I dont have to be first i have right.
Sanders is a great player and a nice guy. I dont have anything negative to say about him. As far as him becoming a husker still seems like a long shot.
But if they start winning, getting into the top 25, top 20 they can get some top recruits until then 5⭐️ are going to be hard to get. There is only 35 5⭐️ every year its pretty rare for most colleges.
Wasn’t coach Knighton being groomed as Tony White successor. Now Coach Butler will be the DC when Tony White leaves go figure.

Coop or de Voric was likely to be d coordinator when white leaves in the next few years.
Cooper left last week, John Butler was hired to replace him.
Nebraska rumor mill went crazy for some reason. Saying Knighton was also leaving, it was all bogus. Knighton isn't going anywhere.
@jesusrivera743 well knighton will be a d coordinator and probably a hc at some point if he wants to be. He doesn't have much coaching experience right now.
