It was cool when the characters spoke english... then slowly all transitioned to their national language.... Christie and Lili I liked their English V.As
The two women walking towards Christie at 8:39 one of them has miharu’s hair style and the other one looks exactly like Anna’s character model from tekken 5. And in the crowd at 9:05 you can see the same 2 character models but with different hair color and clothes. I’m pretty sure if Anna was meant to be added in T4, and one of them was supposed to be her. The heavy makeup makes it even more clear. It would be cool to know the history behind the scenes about tekken 3 and 4. And if they were about to add some characters and have their designs ready but the idea was later scrapped.

Yes, she was naive at times, but at least she was fighting for the few beloved people that remained in her life. Eddy always looks like he couldn't take a shit for the past few days and let's people see that.
@@candasturan4559 Eddy is humble, kind, a hard worker, serious, very loyal, respectful and respected by everyone, cool, and would do everything to save his friends and family, even going into war. Christie fought for her Grandfather's health, but you don't know how much Eddy went through in his life. He is not acting the way he does because he likes it, but because he has no choice. He lost his father, and his entire family, he does not want to lose his master, and most definitely not Christie. All he wants is for Christie and her grandfather to be save and sound, but if Christie puts herself in these types of situations, then he will be afraid he will lose her as well. Mind you, Eddy is an orphan and Christie and her grandfather is all he has
@@Matt_Underwood I never doubted the depth of his story that's why I mentioned in my first comment that Eddy had a more deeper and developed story than Christie. You are right, his past explains his personality traits somewhat but to me personally Christie still had more personality too herself. You could tell what a type of person she was only by hearing her pre-and win quotes. And Christie just as much as Eddy is willing to fight and sacrifice herself to keep the people she loves in her life. However, it's obviously more of a subjective thing. To me Eddy always seems very strict and serious, which once again makes sense regarding his story. But that's probably why I love Christie a bit more because regardless of her dark past and present she keeps her joyful nature and positive attitude.

But Christie is obviously more positive than Eddy because she didn't have a dark past revealed like Eddy. It is only revealed that she is the granddaughter of a famous capoeira master. Nothing else actually. We don't know if her parents are killed or anything like that. She didn't go through any hardships like Eddy, so she has more reason to be positive and joyful. For Eddy it makes more sense, and his win animations showcase that he is confident in his Capoeira skill for him being a prodigy and respect for his deceased master in Tekken 7. Win animations aren't everything though, I don't judge characters off of that or something in game. I actually look more at the characters story.
Christie was an absolutely amazing addition to Tekken and I totally feel like her and Eddy would be a power couple 😁. I just wish they added her to Tekken 7 😢
@@takasquad1391 Not really, her character was likable and interesting. Plus I feel like namco could really make mirror characters more interesting by remaking their movesets but still have the same fighting style of the person they mirror i.e. Christie and others
Christie Monteiro is one of my favorite Tekken Characters in Tekken 4 Game and i like the way how Namco introduced Christie Monteiro in the Tekken Game Series which was a good choice made by Namco!

Christie's Tekken 4 appearance is her finest, in my opinion. The costumes, voice, hair, and face all make for a perfect combination.
Tekken 4 Christie was perfect tbh. Her face was rounder, her hair was wilder and she looks thicker than in the later Tekkens.

The astoundishing difference from Tekken 3 to Tekken 4 was sublime.
Tekken 4 introduced physics for hair so they programmed Christie's hair to show off those physics and it's absolutely charming !
