Luka proved most people don’t know D when they see it. Didn’t hear anyone say anything about his defense until this video. That was the game Luka haters say can’t happen. But it did, it happens all the time if you actually watch him. Luka and PJ played elite D from the tip off.

He’s not the greatest defender but if you actually sit and watched any games this season you can actually see a difference in his defense. He has a out of this world basketball IQ with helps anticipate what’s going to happen. He’s in the top 10 in steals this season number 8 to be exact. I’ll take that from him any day

If they manage the Clippers the next three or four games, they could manage any other team, Clippers are playing high level, as good as any one, actually the only defense that I could match to clippers beside the Mavs is the Minnesota. So any other team will be easier to score.

That first clip of Luka defending kawhi isn’t really representative of Luka because it was pj’s help d in the paint and maxi’s help d on the baseline that forced kawhi to take the tough jumper, without them there kawhi could’ve easily turned the corner on luka

Luka has cat-like pouncing ability to stab at the ball and also thick lower half to move his body around and manipulate others. It's what you need in this soft league. Luka just has to want to 'dial-in'.
